"short criticism after we arrived at the day of our trip in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and had covered our beautiful junior suite, we were ready for coffee and cake. after consulting with our innkeeper host, she recommended us the caffeine in the pedestrian zone because it should be the best caffeine in garmisch. the caffeine is quite central in the pedestrian zone. after the homepage it offers 220 interiors and has over 160 exteriors in the summer months as well as 150 covered terraces in the first floor with a magnificent view of the alpenpanorama. the caffeine is doing something. in the outside area under large sun umbrellas, which even offer them with rainy protection, we have a table in the front row. so on Sunday afternoon we were able to observe the colorful journey on the road. the choice of cake, cake, other baked, ice cream and hot eating is great. one of several female services welcomed us quickly and asked for our desire. the different cards were on the table and so we could at least decide for a Haferl coffee. torte or pie is ordered for personal look of the same inside at the counter, gets its bon, which is then given to the service when it brings the coffee. for my piece was black forests, either it was not quite fresh, or it was because the sawed part in the torte was creamier than sawed. delicious cake. good chocolate samples were out. can't speak to other offerings, but I don't get the low rating here. I've eaten cake at many places across Germany, this is one of my favorite. Plenty of choices, lovely setting. I do agree black coffee is only OK, but that's not why I come to a Konditorei.

We had a delicious meal here in Garmish on a stop between Munich and Füssen. Our server was very nice and attentive and patient with my questions in English. We were there with our five year old daughter and as we were getting ready to leave, she attempted to say food was delicious, thank you in German and our waitress rewarded her with sweets. A very nice touch. The sausages and Ham and cheese toast were excellent as was the fantastic dessert. Prices were very reasonable. Great spot!
