"We loved every meal we had at the Schloderer! Wonderful food (NOT just German/Bavarian cuisine) and service - reservations are recommended (but not required)! This is NOT a large, impersonal restaurant -- by the end of the week we felt like we had found our true 'neighborhood pub' - and we will make a point of coming back the next time we are in the GP area. The pulled pork sandwich was, truly, a delight. Every bite featured a different taste/element and the pork was incredibly savory and the portions were almost overwhelming. The steak was almost fork-tender, served atop a crispy, crunchy potato cake. The kabob was substantial and varied, the salads fresh and tasty. The posters for the Winter Olympic games and skiing competitions were charming along with the typical beer steins. The outdoor dining porch is very intimate and features an incredible view back towards the peaks that lead to the Zugspitze. It's a view and experience that's a delight to savor and you should make reservations for the experience. The indoor dining area is just slightly larger. Prices were very affordable and with the quality and variety of the food made for an outstanding bargain!"

This place is well-worth the time hunting down. It is small, but serves up delicious and inexpensive food. Great value for money. If you're lucky, you can wrangle a space out on the balcony. If you are going with a larger party, call and reserve...More

My wife and I visited here on a Sunday night. The crowd seemed to be mostly local people. We enjoyed the friendliness of the bartender as she made us feel welcome and helped us with an English menu. The prices were reasonable and we enjoyed our evening. View menu

This place is just amazing! Completely unassuming from the outside, it feels very comfortable and cozy inside, yet quite simple and no fuss. Extremely friendly with all (even our toddler was welcome!). Excellent service and wonderful food that is a little bit different from the traditional local gastronomy, with generous portions, and amazing quality. We highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich, and wish we had been able to also try the US beef cuts they offer. Would recommend to call ahead and make a reservation as there are only 4 tables.

Small mom and pop restaurant. Really quaint with delightful staff. No dedicated gf menu but was informed by the waitress (maybe owner? that most everything was gf. I can handle a bit of dairy and gf is complicated enough so I didn’t add it to the mix. I had the pulled pork which came with potato pancakes and coleslaw; also served with a side salad. There was a bit of cheese on the side salad, but everything else must have been gf/df since I didn’t get sick. A truly great meal for not much money! Don’t forget to call for reservations though! This is a hit spot for the locals do they may not have room if you don’t call ahead.
