"great place after a good laga and ogono cape ride, a great discovery the batzoki varrengelu. we ate on the terrace (recommended by the girl days before, when we book) and. luxury! good tickets (senseto batzoki, green peppers and croquettes) and strong and abundant seconds (callos, txipirones, carrilleras and vegetarian lasagna). the waitress deal, phenomenal. to repeat, sure! "Comida típica vasca, de muy buena calidad y muy buena cantidad. El restaurante es precioso y el emplazamiento muy bueno si estas pasando el dia por la playa. Fuimos a menú cerrado y todo buenísimo, el único mal sabor de boca por decirlo así es que no pudimos cambiar el postre del menú por café o sorbete, hubo que pedirlo aparte. El trato del personal muy profesional pero cercano a la vez."

"We ordered A Veggie Pizza and the Croquettes. I am not a Vegetarian but my gf who was with me is. The Croquettes were served warm but the in the first bite, I bit into a frozen chunk surrounded by warmth. I asked for the dish to be taken back because of this and I simply stated that I bit into something frozen. The manager/bar tender) possibly owner, seemed upset). After finishing our food I went up to the bar to order another pizza to go as our table service has disappeared since I sent the Croquette back. The manager/bar tender tried to pick a fight with me as I tried to apoligize. I stated over and over again that I am so sorry and I didn 't mean to offend him but what could I do, I bit into a frozen piece of food. I stated I don 't mean any disrespect I am even trying to get more food. He refused to make me any more food and continue to pace around as if we were about to fight. I gave nothing but respect and love and told him that it didn 't have to be like this. He said no and kicked me out. I felt so bad about this and went down the street to one of the next bar/restaurants. The kitchen was closed and she said Kanala might be open. I told her what happened and she said I 'm not surprised, I used to work there. I tried so hard to give more and more love to that owner and make this right but he was just not having it. I may have called him out on something that he tried really hard to cover up......"

"La verdad es que me siento avergonzado por una lamentable comentario, ya borrado, sobre mi experiencia de hoy en un establecimiento que frecuento en mis escapadas a la que, para mi, es la mejor playa de Euskal Herria, de la que estoy enamorado desde hace 40 años. Por ello quiero pedir disculpas, sobre todo al camarero objeto de mi queja. Parkatu, benetan. Quiero destacar la calidad del producto que ofrecen y su excelente tratamiento en cocina y presentación. El motivo de mi queja era el tiempo de espera del plato solicitado. La respuesta de que hay gente que ha esperado más, me reconocerán, no es la más adecuada hacia un cliente. Aunque no justifica mi primera reacción con comentario inapropiado, del que, repito, me arrepiento y pido disculpas de nuevo. Entiendo que era hora punta, mucha clientela y cocina y barra llegan hasta donde llegan. Con el comedor lleno, además. Me fastidia porque he sido camarero y debiera ser más comprensivo. Feliz fin de temporada veraniega."

"What a pleasant surprise! We book here guided by tripadvisor and what a great decision! The restaurant is on a spectacular site, with stunning views. They have several dining rooms (if you go with a baby chair - or wheelchair - it indicates that they feel you upstairs, as there is no lift). Even if you are not glued to the window, thanks to the large glass windows you can enjoy the views practically from any table. In the dining room above we saw that there were different areas, our newest, another older but with lots of charm. the restaurant has its own parking and is also reached from the village of Ceranos by a very pleasant pedestrian path. the spacious and very clean bathrooms. the friendly and fast service. and the food. We loved it. We asked for octopus to the braise and fish soup to share (riquísimo) and then marinated tuna and merluza to the braise; in my case, the merluza was a huge loin (waited half, honestly;) it cost me to finish it, and how good! we shared a dessert torrija, of the best I have ever tried. together with 2 beers and 2 bottles of water, we pay 122 euros. the most expensive ratio/price without doubt the drink (both water and beer, at 3.50). The food seemed to me to have a very reasonable price. comment that it is a kind of complex with camping and a chick to eat more informal, that had a great look and to which we will definitely go someday! they have tronna for babies."
