"On a neighborhood walk, we passed by this new creperie in a working-class area and soon took a reservation on a popular F-reservation site.We were welcomed and quickly seated. Our server passed with an e-tablet ready for our complete order. We ordered drinks and asked for a few more minutes. The atmosphere is clean, open modern. Our order of the special crepe of the day, smoked salmon, leeks in vinegrette, chevre and a whipped sauce with curry and a side bowl of salad....and a lunch 'menu' of two ingredient build-yourself crep (emmental cheese and a confit of onions) arrived quickly. The crepes were very good and we appreciated the quick service. The brut cider from Aval was complex, rich with apple flavor, 5 varieties of apples. Since the lunch menu came with cider, I tried an extra brut but prefered the cidre d'Aval being more flavorful and complex. The lunch menu offered a dessert crepe and I ordered my favorite crepe au citron. I was slightly disappointed with the lack of a very good squeeze of lemon juice but enjoyed it never the less.Total bill was 40e for two with a bottle of cidre. In all, this creperie is popular and for a good reason. Service is very good, prices reasonable and crepes are very good even in their standard presentation. They do avoid adding too much butter; the crepes were not oily in any way. The lunch menu is quite good at 10,50e and there are other very good choices....even a hamburger. Why only three stars? This creperie is quite good but not a place I would seek passing by other more refined places. The style of a creperie is simple and classic (but not innovative) and that is what we wanted this time. We will return but for another level up, I would dine elsewhere."

This is my local. Good quality galettes and friendly staff. Their Lunch deal is good value for 2 crepes sale/sucre and a drink for 13,50€. They do takeaway which is practical as it's often packed.

Was on Timeout's choice for great crepes in Paris. Didn't disappoint! Good selection of options, both sweet and savoury of which some have some Brittany specific ingredients which is nice. Would recommend

Went there with some friends while we're traveling in Paris. The interior of the restaurant is lovely, bright and with a hint of the beautiful beach and waves of Bretagne. We tried both sweet and salty pancakes, accompanied with excellent ciders. (Apart from the galettes and crepes, their burger is also very tasty). This is definitely the place you go for some authentic French crepes in Paris. View menu

Had a lunch there on a typical Parisian rainy day. Loved the design of the space. The staff was nice, but a little bit overwhelmed by all the hungry people flooding in the restaurant. I had a galette complete - oeuf jambon fromage - it was delicious, the galette especially reminded me of the galette you'd find in Morbihan.I had a crepe for desert with homemade salted butter caramel and almond - it was fantastic!I would definitely go back there!

There are several crêperies in Paris and people will keep telling about this or that place. They are good, for sure. But the good thing about having crepes is a certain feeling of homemade, of having a sharing moment with friends and family. Most of the crêperies in Paris cannot give this type of authenticity. Krugen comes in the opposite direction: good taste, simple menu, well atentioned staff and a twist of salty fudge. It might be a little bit far from the main Paris attraction but who cares?

I leave nearby this newly opened (oct 2015) creperie, and was among the first to test it when it still had no heating. The chef is a crepes master and is able to make a thin and crispy crepe that I've never tried before. They also serve traditional and innovative fillings, like fourme d'amber cheese with apple puree, or mustard sausage. They also sell some original produce from Bretagne that you can take away.+ for families: the decor is so basic that there is room for strollers and kids are welcome. My boyfriend and I visited Krugen on a weekend break to Paris. We both had the brunch which was an amazing deal. I had the burger special - i cant even put into words how tasty it was. After our tea, cider, yogurt came the biggest plate of the tastiest burger i have had - instead of the classic bun you get two pancakes. The dessert was a massive pancake covered in a salted caramel sauce and the only thing i have to say is WOW! The restaurant its self was beautifully decorated with a very seaside feel to it. Staff are super friendly and helpful. If you are after pancakes or crepes in Paris you have to visit Krugen

If you're in paris and want to try the typical french experience with some galette or savoury crepes (made with buckwheat flour), I highly recommend this place! We picked it simply because it looked like a lovely restaurant but had no idea the crepes and the service would be so good! The waitress was lovely and she was there to suggest some very good choices! I had the daily special galette and then for dessert the dark chocolate (homemade) crepe. My boyfriend is a little picky with food but this was perfect since he could choose what ingredients to have in his crepes! We were not too full but very satisfied, and the prices are also very reasonable! Therefore if you are in paris and would like...
