"We had our room infront of this café, and the place seemed to be very popular among locals. The prices were a over average, but mainly well worth it. We went here for breakfast and coffee on a thursday and on a sunday. The first...time around I ate the Eggs Benedicte deLuxe, which was truly world class. The eggs were perfectly boiled with a running inside and the sauce was fluffy and light yet filling. The waitresses on thursday were very friendly and the service was excellent. On the second time on sunday the place was packed, and unfortunately this reflected also in the service, the time of how long it took to prepare the ordered dishes and the quality. I wanted to enjoy the world class Eggs Benedict once more before I left Berlin, thus this is a real treat and it is hard to find a chef who can make a perfectly boiled egg. Unfortunately it took over minutes to get the breakfast and the egg was cooked hard. Also the service staff were stressed on sunday with all the people. On both times the coffee and the fresh orange juice were excellent and worth the price. The atmosphere also was lovely. I truly believe sunday was an unfortunate mishap due to maybe staff shortage and all the people arriving very much at the same time. I would definitely give them a new go, especially with the world class eggs benedict. That is a dish not very many chefs can pull off, and they did it already once, so absolutely worth a try and a visit for a luxury breakfast!"

Really lovely homemade cakes, good coffee, nice service. Situated in the very busy Simon Dach Kiez with plenty of other restaurants around.

We just decided to give it a try again! ...and it worked. Great breakfast, the menu is eclectic so it satisfies different needs. The place was almost empty tho, looks like they are actually good when not in stress situation. Staff okay.. typical Berlin.

Can’t put my finger on why but every visit here has been a good experience. Relaxed atmosphere (despite the roadworks just opposite the terrace), great coffee and nice service. We’ll try breakfast tomorrow, no doubt that will be an equally good experience.

My friend and I went here for Sunday breakfast and were quite satisfied. There were a decent number of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians a lot. The servers were quite nice and there was plenty of outdoor seating. My only comment is that it...took a while for us to get our bill, but we weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a problem.

Service simply forgot about our some of our orders. When asking them about it, they admitted that it got lost and would now be tagged at the end of incoming orders. Upon asking whether they could push it forward, because some of us have been without food while the others were close to finishing, they refused, saying that the other tables are waiting too. Duh, but we we're waiting a lot longer.

A very disappointing experience all in all. Service was friendly enough but pretty slow (to be fair, it was very busy). But the service was the best thing about it. My friends’ egg dishes didn’t taste of much, and according to the menu were supposed...to come with bread and homemade jam, but didn’t. When my friend asked they were then brought one small piece of bread each. And my eggs benedict was made with supermarket ready sliced bread and cheap and nasty sliced ham. And the hollandaise sauce doesn’t even bear remembering. Not good at all.

I passed this place many times thinking its just a Cafe. But it actually has a full menu I just figured this evening. And I was really happily surprised to find such a place in the middle of the touristic part of Berlin Friedrichshain where...you usually have bars and restaurants with cheap interior and over-priced food to get the most out of the tourists. This place has a very nice stylish but not over-stylish ambience not to mention the food was indeed excellent. Today on my very first visit I had the asparagus risotto from the seasonal menu and as dessert the pear sherbet of the regular menu. I loved both of it. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, which also is a rare find in Be...

If you are searching a breakfast cafe in Friedrichshain which opens am in the morning and serves a solid breakfast for the start into the day KuchenRausch is an option for you. We were the first guests in the morning and the atmosphere was...clean and with smooth music this does not happen everywhere. Even bfore sitting down we were served immediately with menus. Also the ordered fresh-pressed orange juices and the coffees were brought quickly. The quality of beverages and breakfast (fried eggs and egg benedict) was very good. The waitress was always very kind, precise and quickly. We were out of KuchenRausch after just minutes and well strengthened for the day. Price for all together was ve...
