"The fact that the cooler Krug is so close to the B10 has led us a few days ago to strengthen us there for our journey to Saarland. When we entered the huge place on a Saturday just before one, we were the only guests to our surprise. Okay, the beer garden time was around, and the beer garden seems to be one of the main attractions of the place, but still it was a bit strange. Inside, you sit in the midst of all kinds of large-volume devices for beer production, with it being surprisingly Bavarian for a Baden brewery. This applies to the non-continuously taste-proof murals as well as to the ubiquitous beer tip. Especially in brewhouses, the ancient man likes to chang into the grotesque. Look for yourself: The Sudplan would have done an update well; we wrote the 27 10. We were greeted very kindly. However, this was only too understandable in view of the utilisation of the place at the time of our appearance. On the map you can see that food is not the focus of the company, but is understood as the basis for beer. This is a disadvantage if, for whatever reason, one does not want to take oneself, and thus his fad-greasy chicken Wings or his crumb-dry pork pruning in its only limited pepper sauce cannot be nicely drunk. And if you throw the pommes into the sauce bath like here, then you can also serve pü. The only beer drinker among us, however, was pleasantly surprised that her white sausage pair came in the form of three sausages, because they were somewhat small after the house had been informed. A nice train, and the beer had tasted her very well. I can fully attest the expertise to judge this. On the back of the map you will find some more elaborate specialties, including even a dry-age entrecôte; I can hardly imagine, however, that the kitchen only unpacks the culinary art that has remained hidden. There is hardly anything worse than if dry-ripened distrusts, but now we also enter the field of speculation. Finally, something positive: I find it very reasonable to order many of the dishes in three serving sizes. The Wings, however, did not, so I had to help my wife, so I could well understand her misfall. Because of the food we won't return there."
