"I've been here for many years, where we were here again when it was just a pop-up! I'm sorry to say that this last visit was quite disappointing and not where near the standards I would expect! I found that eating was not done as well and underwriting dishes as the walnut candidate aubergine was sloppy and warm, not as id recalls. cocktails were beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive, but for the price tag eating not on the high standard I expected! I would even go so far to say that the actual ambiente was pretty flat and generally felt more like a kantine than a restaurant! I had a wonderful evening with my friend, but it was really not as good as it was and it is not cheap! we hope it was just a blip!"

Food very disappointing- had to send two dishes back as we couldn’t eat them. Much better Japanese restaurants nearby. Staff nice but didn’t seem to know the menu very well.

eating was nothing special, tempura tasted like in the same oil as the mushrooms that taste delicious. sushi seemed ok, although the rice was overcooked. place was ok and good cocktails from the bar, expensive, but standard for kings road.
