"My husband and I had come to this street full of little restaurants thinking of eating at another restaurant where we had eaten in the past. We were happy to have been able to try this simple but pleasant restaurant with absolutely typical food. Only quality products, well cooked and at reasonable prices. We opted for a platter that includes many samples of typical Palermo dishes but very different from how local street food is normally cooked. All served with warm, freshly homemade bread. It really deserves the name Alcove of Flavors! If you add the courtesy and affability of the owners I would say you couldn't ask for more! It's alright but I can't recommend ordering the pesto spaghetti, it didn't really taste like anything. We also had to wait around 1 ½ hours for the spaghetti and 3 pizzas, the place wasn't really busy at this time so idk what was going on here. Really disappointing waiting so long for that. The staff was kind tho! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

The vibe of the place was very wrong. The guy says they don’t serve pizza even though it’s on the menu. Then he says they don’t accept credit card only at the end and my friend was forced to pay for me. The food was okay but hardly up to the standards of other Italian restaurants. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We went for lunch in this little restaurant opposite the Teatro Massimo attracted by the fixed menus offered for lunch and we had a great time, we took the €30 fixed menu for 2 with a very rich platter as a starter, two glasses of wine and two first courses, normal and Sicilian pesto!!! Excellent quality, fast service and helpful staff (they made us sit near the stove which allowed us to have lunch outdoors without feeling cold) I recommend it, we will definitely be back!!! see you soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
