We arrive at the restaurant: impeccable service, salad of very fresh ovoli (practically scrocchiarelli,) cacio and pepper that radiates perfection and a great artichoke to the jacket. very good also the wine card. True and tasty Italian food. Not packed with tourists, not pretencious. He had a very nice and fresh torteloni with ricotta, burra and salvia (really fresh) and an amazing gnocchi with tomato. Only the restaurant rooms seem a lit bottle outdated and need some light and materials renovation. That's why I don't give an 5 star. this place has more than 500 years of history and is one of the best in Rome. we were advised by an acquaintance, who is often in roma for his work. we stayed there at dinner, the other night, and I have to say that it was a really great experience. the place is cozy and refined, the staff is friendly and kind and makes you feel at ease. it was all delicious, a real hymn to the Roman cuisine, which is really delicious. from artichokes to the Giudìa, to the leaps to the Roman, to the glare and its contours, each dish was delicious. Dined there twice in May. Food was decent and service was friendly and fine. The first time we went, we showed up at lunchtime to make a dinner reservation for that evening. We were brusquely told that it would not be possible, come back after 9pm. Our hotel called the restaurant, and we were immediately given a reservation for our requested time. Dinner was good. Interesting to read the reviews since they are all over the place. We had a great dinner. Came in before they closed for lunch and made a reservation for 7:30, which is when they open. Showed up at 7:25 and they led us to our reserved table for 2. I wore khaki pants and my wife wore a summer dress. At the same time a couple we met while waiting for the restaurant to open, that has no reservations and wearing shorts came in after us.
