the service was in order, but eating was not good, I had a tajine that was hard to eat, and the rest of us was random, and too expensive for what it was. it's ashamed as the setting is beautiful.

Ideally located at the heart of the castle of Chantilly (perfect for a break during the visit). Both the food (typical French cuisine mostly and some special options for lunch) and service were good so we really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it. View menu

Nous avons manger le midi du 02.05.2024 et sommes agréablement surpris par le prix du menu, qui n'était vraiment pas excessif. De plus notre serveur Yann R et toute l'équipe était hyper agréable et très à l'écoute de nos besoins . Pour nous un sans faute a tout points de vue. Cendrine et David.

We had lunch here on Tuesday and wondered about the quality of the restaurant being within a tourist site. Oh my goodness, the staff were helpful, the food delicious and a bit different to the norm, not overly expensive, as some of the restaurants were...in the main part of Chantilly. visiting the Chantilly castle , we opted for lunch at the captainy , the gastronomic restaurant of the places that claims to be vatel the famous pleasant chef voutered with quite basic furniture. quality service and dishes chosen according to the flat formula dessert to euros, really excellent. Fakes with fried potatoes and salad of any first choice as well as fish with small vegetables. the generous tatin pie and the silly cabbage to finish obviously. We've really eaten well. He's a counselor!

Nous sommes arrivés à midi au 1er service avec une réservation. Impossible de commander une entrée car le pain n avait pas été livré. L entrée choisie en remplacement, une salade césar, est arrivée 45mn après, à 13h, apres deux réclamations pour cette entrée! Très long pour trois croûtons 3 feuilles de salade et du poulet. Les plats, poulet frites, plus d une heure et quart après notre commande, un poulet bien ferme mais un peu sec car sans sauce. Les frites étaient bonnes. Le dessert , le gâteau picard, 1h45 après notre arrivée il fallait juste le sortir de la vitrine.... Bilan deux heures pour manger, un peu long tout de même. Un manque d'organisation flagrant, un serveur transpirant à gro...
