"Une salle ouverte sur Bordeaux qui vous offre une minute surprise lors du diner , un personnel attentionné au service d´une cuisine inventive de grande qualité le Saint-James mérite sans aucun doute son étoile , la deuxiéme pourrait bien arriver bientôt.Le rapport qualité-prix (nous avions pris le grand menu) est tres tres bon et la variété des plats de ce menu surprise vous maintien en appétit tout au long du repas .Une volonté forte de travailler avec des produits locaux permet au chef d´offrir des mets devenus parfois tres rare sur les cartes des restaurants comme ces ormeaux servis á l´apéritif qui a eux seuls valent le déplacement .Beaucoup de saveur dans tous les plats avec une mention particuliére pour les produits de la mer d´une tres grande fraicheur .Un petit bémol pour les desserts riches et variés mais un peu trop sucrés pour une fin de marathon !La carte des vins est magnifique avec une volonté marquée de présenter des vins venant de toutes les régions francaises dont celle de la Vallée du Rhone absolument superbe tout celá á des prix raisonnables .Un superbe moment !"

"If you know Bouliac then you will be aware that there was a Michelin star restaurant there, (this is not it) and the restaurant concerned does not ahve the star anymore, the chef left and took the star with him.There are also other restaurants there too but this review concerns the Cafe de l'esperance, to be in this location it has to be good, it is, great staff, great service and the food matches all, not a large menu, (signs of a good restaurant) but specials each day, this day for lunch I had the crab salad (Large), excellent, on this visit I did not need anything else, wine list is also good, well it is Bordeaux!! all in all great place, certainly for lunch, as a matter of interest, it looks small but just step inside and walk through, past the bar into a large area, can't better the service."

"we had to go home for two hours and wanted to eat before it was too late. we left the rocade and found the restaurant by chance. the restaurant was insecure by the parked cars, but we thought it was worth a stop with so many cars. I was worried that my original to wear short (I was clean and tidy! but there was no need for care, as there was a table of four, who was dressed in a sarcotic manner! they have a choice in the evening of the à la carte or a buffet. there is a special menu for €25 per head, consisting of buffet entrees, plus à la carte and a dessert that looked good, but we were not so hungry. we chose the buffet (as much as they want, bee and dessert for 16,50 € each). I am a pain when it comes to seafood, as I would like to eat, not spend old peeling or bone fishing. my wife doesn't mind that she's smiling around, so she's had a cloak, laughs, etc. I was very happy with the selection of salat in the offer. I had roll mops, Spanish omelette, salmon and a few delicious pates. the cheeseboard had a nice selection with probably the most beautiful camenbert I had ever eaten. there were more than enough to choose with the dessert table, fresh fruit, chocolate mousse, panacotta, crumbs etc. the waiter was very attentive. the toilets were clean, but directly from the restaurant floor. I'm not sure I want to be at the table near the door. the meal costs 43.20 € including coffee. I noticed that the tipps at the cash adjacent was easily used and badly reflected on the given service. if we were in the opposite, we would go back."

"We came to the recommendation of a friend who shaved over the food. We came to the hotel early so that we went for lunch and were very disappointed about the quality and taste of the food. We ordered a beautiful glass of Sauvignon and the shells. We both had eaten a bit on the street, so we were not so hungry, just kept it with a dish. It came looking very bizarre; a protocol of a kind of stale hard bread, with small cold, tasteless shells on top dotted with over strong parsley pesto and some other Dab of sauce that I could not identify. The whole thing was weird and we both had trouble destroying it. They served it with cut, seemingly overhauled bread without butter, so even a piece of bread was blunt and uninteresting. Both of us are very enjoyable when it comes to food and usually find something worth eating on a plate, but that was the first time I couldn't manage. And to supplement injuries, the bill was 47euros. We cancelled our dinner reservation immediately and still cannot understand what we tell others about the amazing meals they had,"
