"I went to La cote de Boeuf together with friends in July 2017. The waitress was really friendly and gave us a table right next to the small street, where the restaurant is located. They have several set meals on the menu, but since I was in Toulouse and hadn't tried it before, I chose the Cassoulet. It is a bean stew with a local sausage and some duck meat and I have to say that I really liked it. Of course, I have no comparison, but this one tasted really good. My friends were also mostly happy with their choices, except for one, who ordered a steak, but the meat he received was really small and looked kind of sad on the big plate.Anyway, I can recommend to try the Cassoulet since I really liked it! Service was friendly, fast and professional!"

I have eaten here a number of times now, yet to be disappointed. Lovely little restaurant, great steak.

I have been here several times for the duck and foi gras salad. This has to be one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Magret de canard! I still have the taste in my mouth. The cooking was excellent the service nice and pleasant at a small cozy and adorable restaurant. I will definitely go back again!

We were recomended this restaurant as apparently they do the best steak!! Nice place but service average and steaks quite tough. Shame for a place that specialises in steak. Looking at the reviews maybe we just had a poor experience.

My husband and I stumbled on this family run restaurant. Both had set menus, mine the cassoulet, my husband the magret. Tasty local wine, starter salads and fabulous desserts & coffee served in a street side table made for an enjoyable and authentic Toulousian experience. I highly recommend!

We didn't book a table, but went early in the evening - we had read good reviews of this small restaurant, and weren't disappointed. We both ate the cassoulet, which was delicious. For dessert, we chose the creme brulee - again, this had been recommended, and was lovely.Great service as well!

I particularly cherish this place. The decor is warm and very family-like. Obviously don't go there if you are looking for seafood lol.Meat is THE specialty and more specifically la cote de boeuf. Nice selection of local wine, don't hesitate to try the Minervois.Desert-wise nothing special, mostly common.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who travels to Toulouse often. My husband and I had the cote de Boeuf for two and couldn't finish the meal due to the portion size. The beef was fabulous but a little too rare (pretty purple and almost cool in the middle) but the owner/chef saw that my husband was struggling with eating it and took it back to put on the open flame to cook a bit more. Great atmosphere, great wine and the duck salad was almost a meal in itself. A definite must eat at place!

We came across this restaurant when one down the road was fully booked. We had just been to watch the rugby league (13s) so we're hungry and there were 2 French people sat outside eating cassoulet so we thought we'd try it. There was a variety of menus at different prices and the 3 of us chose different ones. Starters were mainly salads (the bacon and egg salad was great) and then we had steak (a basic cut), duck confit which was tasty, and the cassoulet. If we went here again we'd definitely get the cote de boeuf as the ones other people were eating looked gorgeous. We sat downstairs and the waitress was very attentive and spoke perfect English. My only disappointment was they had run out o...
