"This must be what heaven is like... Nah. Heaven probably sucks. But this place is alright! I'm still sitting next to the beautiful babbling fountain surrounded by bottles of rosé. What took me so long to get here? What could've been more important? I had the plat du jour: A rumpsteak. À point. With potatoes dauphinois. I could've died and never made it here... After that steak, I can live and be happy that I did make it. That's not hyperbole.... This place is an oasis. I don't know what it's like during the busy weekday lunch rush... But for a Sunday, well after 2pm, when every other restaurant in all of France is closed... ... there's no place I'd rather be than La Fontaine."

Chicken Tagine was served on the piping hot dish however the chicken was cold inside so it’s not freshly cooked! Also super sweet. 1 star. Owner is very nice. Friends liked the whole fish. The owner made a point to bring raw fish over for inspection.
