"Careful for allergic people. My spouse is allergic to eggs. We warned the people of the restaurant more than a month in advance and clearly specified this fact upon arrival. At the time of the main dish, he got used a bug and the waitress told us that it contained egg but in small quantities so it wasn't very bad... What a disappointment! And it's frustrating insolence. Coming from an establishment of this type, we were very disappointed especially that they could have very well replaced the bug with something else (I had girolles on my side. They made a small commercial gesture but it is a major mistake and we wanted to leave this opinion so that situations like these no longer reproduce. Nevertheless the meal was very good and had a pleasant evening, but this error does not give us any desire to come back."

great moment! exquisite cooking, a warm service without being guinated, and a value ratio price more than correct. Please show that the france is rich with its terroirs and passionate about culinary art. We'll be back!

Just wonderful! the nicolas chef really wants to find his culinary identity around herbs, vegetable garden and local products. no false note either in the reception or in the service or in the dishes. We had come a few years ago with a sublime memory, and it was even better this time here. special mention to the tartare of langoustine and caviar and to the st stone.

First experience in a 2-star restaurant, it was reversing. Let's go quickly to the place and the perfect staff on the whole line. We took a five-course meal and saw the mouths and mignardises in addition, it seemed to us quite sufficient. From the first bite to the last it is a festival for taste buds. A huge blow of heart for the tomato juice that reminded me of the fabulous stuffed tomatoes of my grandmother, all in a simple pretty light juice. But what is this magic?! Thank you for this great unforgettable moment

two visits to this sublime establishment. in both cases a gustative journey beyond our usual and inventive experiences and detonating meeting/win agreements. The renovation is very successful. our evening experience was the best. In the day we were surprised by the incessant broom of guests of the hotel (sometimes in bathrobe or bathing suit) who pass and meals behind the glass bay of the restaurant without failing to deny often what happens inside. a certain detail but the frame, charm, delicate attentions of all staff and the general atmosphere of refinement that is sought and obtained may not be that.

"We had met people of a mid evening flight and knowing they would be hungry decided to eat before returning home. The Leon de Bruxelles is quite close to Bordeaux airport at Junction 14, and as the day before I had received a €20 discount voucher, we decided to eat there. The restaurant was two thirds full, but the restaurant was clearly under staffed. We waited ages before being seated, and the manager at the bar, did not acknowledge our arrival or make any attempt to expedite the situation. By this time the queue was now outside the door.Eventually we were shown to a booth, which was a little tight for comfort, but we managed. After another long wait we were presented with the menu and ordered promptly. At this time I advised the waitress that I had a €20 discount voucher and asked whether she wanted it then or on presentation of the bill, she elected to take it then and there. The moules were very nice, not outstanding but nice, although discount any picture of the moules flowing over the sides of the serving pot, they did not, infact the pots were barely more than half full, perhaps they were economising because I had a discount voucher. The fries were excellent. When the bill finally came, and it seemed to take all day, I noticed that the discount had not been taken off of the bill. The waitress said she had forgotten and would bring a revised bill, which again took for ever. The staff were very pleasant, but clearly the restaurant is drastically understaffed, with long waits and none of the usual French pleasantaries. There are a number of restaurants a stone throws away from the Leon, which will get my custom in the future."
