"I go to the Little Grange from time to time. I'm not a very regular visitor, but I go there about twice a year with colleagues or clients. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the dishes, and the enthusiasm of the owner (note that sometimes the owner is not having a good day...and this can lead to a special welcome . Still, today I was very disappointed with my meal at the Petite Grange....and the annoyances piled up: no payment possible by credit card (the device is not working today...so either by check or in cash no beers available very few wines (although on the menu available. We wanted a bottle of Mercurey...not available, just like many other wines. We were able to have a glass of Chablis....but not two...there were no more,.... no daily specials (how is it possible not to have a daily special when we were almost alone in the restaurant . only 2 desserts out of the 4 offered on the menu available In short, really very disappointed with this visit which taints my pleasure in coming to this good table."

pretty atypical establishment with good regional products but the setting lacks atmosphere and the price of drinks does not reflect the region.

Too expensive. 25€ the cassoulet plate for that!? 22€ for a plate of 6 raviolis, with the stuffing so compacted that it cannot be industrial!? I'm sorry, but it's not fair, it's scam. like false comments.

What? everything is perfect, from welcome to the plate to decoration as its name suggests. You feel like you're getting out of the way when you push the doors of the little barn. A nice address I recommend to you.

A little expensive for the quality of the food. The owner should lower prices and offer menus. Not much choice, but enough. For the decoration, could do better. Response to the owner: Too bad the owner does not accept comments and above all does not remember the customers For your information, during our visit, there was no more cassoulet (dish of the day) and a dessert from the menu could not be served. Service: Dine in

"I ate here on a Thursday evening, on arrival I received a very warm and friendly greeting. I had booked on line as a solo traveller I wanted to make sure I had somewhere for dinner. Initially I couldn’t find the restaurant on google maps...so phoned them. A very friendly young lady explained how I could get to the restaurant in English, a bonus as my French is very limited. It’s a characterful place with rustic charm. I was shown to my table at the back of the restaurant, perfect to watch the comings and goings of guests and soak up the ambience without feeling like I was alone. A kir Royale, about €6 to start with a carafe of excellent house rose , about €10. My starter main and desert options were expertly explained to me in English by the young lady who had directed me to the restaurant. For starter I had goats cheese Provençal , served in a ceramic dish the goats cheese sits on the Provençal sauce , with salad and French bread. Simple but absolutely delicious. Then a steak with fries and salad, cooked to my liking and served with a delicious sauce. To end I had cheese and more French bread. Total cost was around €48, so taking off the drinks around €32, not bad for a restaurant in central Versailles which had a number of walk ins as well as bookings, I feel very lucky to have enjoyed the hospitality offered to me. Highly recommended, booking advisable."
