I didn't stay there but I had dinner there. The restaurant is excellent with a special mention for the scallops when it is in season.

The review concerns the restaurant. After an initial refusal for not booking in advance, we returned the next day for a birthday. We were extremely well received and the dinner was impeccable in every way. The owner of the establishment is very friendly and we keep this address in mind, we will come back! Service: 4

Very warm welcome with impeccable service. The dishes are beautifully prepared. The oysters are presented on small white pebbles which help maintain freshness and bring elegance to the dish. It's served generously, we don't look for the meat under a salad leaf as the photos show us. Small downside, the menu is a bit cluttered, but there is a large choice. It's a shame that the vegetables take on the taste of the excellent lamb meat. This alchemy is not very happy. Overall it was a very good meal.

I spent one night in this hotel, having dinner and breakfast. The rooms are classic but very comfortable. The premises are very clean and well maintained. The welcome is excellent, the hotelier very pleasant, welcoming and good advice on his city and region. I invite you to have dinner which is excellent. It was a delight for my taste buds from the starter to the dessert including the homemade bread. I highly recommend this hotel and if you don't sleep there, go there for its catering. I will come back with pleasure!!

3 nights with family (5 people, 2 bedrooms). Small hotel, ideally located in the very pretty town of Saint Jean d'Angely. The rooms are a little basic in terms of decoration, but functional. The bedding is of good quality and the sheets smell good of laundry. Both the rooms, the restaurant and the common areas are impeccably clean. The breakfast is of high quality (fresh bread and croissants, homemade jams, daily newspaper on the table). The staff are attentive and help to make you feel at home. We did not try the restaurant but it was full at each service.
