"We really enjoyed our dinner at Les Hautes Roches. The location is stunning, specially on the terrace facing the Loire. The staff were very helpful and professional. As we had opted for a tasting menu with wine pairing, the sommelier asked us what our preferences...were and prepared a nice selection among the wines that they are serving by the glass. The food was very fresh and tasty. The dishes were rather classical but perfectly adapted to the local produce. The aperitif was a local sparkling Crémant de Loire (AOP Vouvray). It was of good quality, aromatic and with yeasty notes. The finish was shorter than for a good Champagne but we enjoyed this product. We had asparagus with braised pork and a poached quail egg for starter. It was served with a very good dry Ménetou-Salon. The first entrée was an excellent Saint-Pierre filet with chorizo, served with a dry Vouvray. The second entrée was pigeon. Everything was excellent on this plate but it was a little bit too crowded. Too much was going on in the plate to be able to really enjoy all the elements. The wine was great, a Bourgueil from domaine de la chevalerie. The dessert was very well done. A Grand Marnier soufflé with a madeleine and strawberries. We chose for their only sweet wine proposed by the glass, a good Vouvray from with surprising nutty flavors. I warmly recommend this place for a special dinner along the Loire river in a stunning environment."

"Classic and quiet evening. for a Saturday evening, quiet restaurant and friendly welcome. simplistic menu and limited what promises a home preparation. However, it lacks precision. For example, in my entry, the main ingredient was the celery but it was not stipulated on the card. Not loving this I was disappointed... for my dish, the skin of the dagger was too high and it is really bad. We all agreed that we were missing “inwards”. cans are served only with mushrooms, the calf was dry and served only with steamed vegetables... at the level of desserts it was much rain! the manager knows about wine, he was able to advise us. pleasant and intimate service."

"Our dinner at Le Val Joli was just one of the best on our trip to France. Friendly, if she rushed, staff of two. The waiter and sous chef was attentive and answered all our questions. We started with crab salad and mango fresh, light, deep flavors. The crab taste came through and was well complemented by the mango slice and sauce spices. The children also started with a Porc-Terrine very well, although simple and without accompaniment. Our entrees were the fish de la semaine and a lamb knuckle. The wild fish was made very beautiful. The lamb was soft and tasteful. We also had rib steak with creamy polnta very good. Desserts were excellent. Beautiful fruitcake. Pistachio, raspberry and cream. Chocolate cake with caramel ice cream that the children really liked. Well recommended."

"Situated on the north bank of Loire, this restaurant offers an interesting mix of venue; wine tasting room, dining room and bar seating area. The place is stark as there is very little soft furnishing. On a busy night with a noisy crowd not an ideal place for people with hearing aids. The restaurant does not unfortunately offer river views as the local tourist office blocks the view. There is a very big garden space for large parties. The food was prepared mostly from local producers and suppliers. A plate menu was available as well as an a'la carte. The wine list is extensive and arranged by the commune in the Loire valley. The owner, Greg, is well placed to give advise on choice of wine for your dinner."

"Hello I visited sometime to go eat in the restaurant wokasie I also had the opportunity to go to the Royal Allonnes buffet in the 72 Sarthe. There you eat and drink at will for the sum of 21,90 € while there you pay almost 22 € and in addition you have to pay your drink I'm sorry to put this review to you it would be at least that the drinks are free to limit and served by someone cordially"
