Extraordinary setting, we shared a veal chop between two that was just sublime.

We stopped by for a late dinner after a long day. Our food was okay, the steak was overcooked and my meal was cold. One of our servers was not very attentive but a second server was great and apologized for the long wait for our food and comped part of our meal. The location is great for people watching.

I had a very enjoyable meal here. The food was good and waitress helpful and the square is lovely. I'd been in Avignon for several days before I found this part of town tucked behind the much more touristy area of the clock tower square. There are numerous small shopping streets in this area. Worth the visit and a stop for coffee, wine or a meal.

Lovely location for lunch, away from the madding crowds of the Main Street of Avignon. Our hotel was right across the street from here, and so it was even more convenient. Our server spoke very good English. This place is a bit pricier than the rest, but the food and convenience was well worth it. We ordered the lamb pie and the steak, which were both okay. The pie could have been crispier.

We just wanted a light lunch and shared a burger, which was great. Staff were super helpful. Even though they were closing were happy for us to sit and finish our bottle of wine. This became a regular place for drinks. They were changing the wine list and kept giving us samples to find the wine we liked. We also had a dinner there, where I wanted something simple, the staff were eating pasta meatballs which was not on the menu, I asked if I could have that and yes, they made it specially for me. What great service! My husband had a fillet steak which he enjoyed. Very fresh and tasty food. Definitely a great place to try.

We had a return visit, having had a very agreeable meal with great service a few days earlier. For out first visit we both had the Wok de Poulet which had a great mix of stir fried vegetables and generous portions of lean chicken breast. The flavours of garlic, fresh ginger etc were delightful. With hindsight, we should have tried somewhere different. The staff had changed although the chef was the same. We ordered another Wok and I chose the St Jacques with bacon, served with courgettes and aubergines. My partners wok was a tomato based fairly tasteless dish, overloaded with noodles and very little chicken - no sign of other stir fry vegetables either. Both dishes were cold and served on co...
