Food is good, portions are too small for a tuscan osteria. The house wine was good, the waiters/owners are nice and welcoming

has a very diverse menu. the waiter presents the dishes in or in French, Italian, English, Dutch, included. eating is fresh. the house wine is a good quality/price. a course dinner becomes over euro. the place is occupied and reservation is recommended. certainly worth the money.

ottimo punto di partenza culinario per questi due giorni. Molto bene. piatto con degotazione di formaggio eccellente. marmellata preparata dal proprietario, valore aggiunto. posizione tipica, con piatti tradizionali. anche ottimo vino della casa. servizio discreto, amichevole e mai invadente.

This review is related to my two visits i mid 2015. The first time it was random, we left the A1 looking for a place where we can have a decent dinner. The second a few days later we went again on purpose. Bot times it was excellent. Only negative the menu is too big, the owner is trying to make too many things so I wonder if everything is fresh. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Everything was good. Service was only slightly slow (by New York standards), but average for Italy. Ambiance is very Etruscan, and very traditional. We had medieval soup, prior to western food items like potatoes, tomatoes, and chocolate. Really, really good with spices, imported by Marco Polo. The local wine (Chianti) is awesome, particularly the 2015-2016 year variety.

I have been coming to this restaurant since 1996 and although it has changed ownership, what has not changed is its commitment to quality food at reasonable prices. If you are looking for a tourist menu, this is not the place. Here, you benefit from the advice of the owners and staff to guide your dining pleasure. And the house wine is too good to pass up for more expensive names. If I lived closer, I would eat here weekly. A stunning value.

Locale molto carino e accogliente proprio nel centro di chiusi!Qui si trovano i piatti della tradizione toscana ma anche proposte che mixano prodotti del territorio e sapori particolari (vedi ravioli allo zenzero, guancia di maiale con spezie, cheesecake con agrumi).I prodotti sono davvero di qualità, le porzioni però non sono abbondantissime e i prezzi potrebbero risultare un po' troppo altini per un'osteria.Nel complesso, se si vuole provare qualcosa di diverso senza perdere di vista la tradizione toscana questo locale fa per voi.Nota di merito: la selezione dei vini e dei formaggi.
