"Visited here as part of a large group one evening for a friends catch up meal. Some of the group had dined here before and spoke highly of this place. On arrival we were taken to our table and our drinks order was taken. The service was the most efficient I 've experienced. We only waited minutes for our drinks before having our food order taken. We all had starters and mains. The food came out fairly quick and wow I wasn 't disappointed one bit. I opted for the garlic bread with cheese with the main following shortly after which consisted of the 'Marinara ' Pizza. This was divine! Other dishes of what I seen looked amazing too. A huge credit to the staff who looked after us all very well. They were friendly and super efficient. Will highly recommend this place and cant wait to return."

Found this hidden gem after 10 years living in Durham. Excellent service, friendly staff and good food in a homely rustic restaurant with very reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back.

Really Nice Meal. I was expecting nice chunks of Chicken in my Meal instead I got Chicken out of a Packet that you can buy at any Supermarket for Sandwiches. However it was Very Tasty. Value for money without a doubt, Beautiful place.

Just been to La Spada for a meal and as usual the entire experience is just a delight. It's a beautiful restaurant with great staff and owners, such friendly service and the food is at constant level of excellence. I had Sirloin surf and turf with homemade chips as my main and it was epic. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough it's just wonderful.
