"CUCUMIAO in Palau (Sardinia), the best italian, mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to in years. I am going to tell you why you should visit this magnificent restaurant in the middle of this beautiful island. The service is very polite. The waiters have welcomed me very well and asked immediately how our day is going. The boss of the restaurant came to us with the wine card and suggested the best wine for our dishes. He gave us some delicious bread and toast. Afterwards we could taste the wine and we liked it a lot. We have never eaten so much and so well for a reasonable price. I took gnocchi as a starter and lamb for my main dish. It was excellent. The meat melted on my tongue and the gnocchi was made with love and it definitely was self-made. As a dessert I took the typical Italian banger , the tiramisu. It was delicious. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. It is a typical Italian style. You see a lot of bottles of red wine on the wall and it gives us a pleasant atmosphere. We sat outside in a covered verande that still let in some sunshine.7 The location was great. We found it easily and it was clearly indicated on the road. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves a good Italian or Mediterranean dish in a pleasant restaurant with very kind people."

"Horrible service. Sat us down and then proceeded to ignore us for 15mins. So we just got up and left. We are staying at Hotel Ma Ma and this is by far the worst service we’ve had yet here. Couldn’t tell you how the food is, looked average at best and quite expensive. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Service: 1"

The Paccheri in rosso with seafood or the delicious Polpo all 'Armando seem to have come directly from the sea which is there, 10 meters from the tables. A concert of quality and service that can be admired and tasted at the Faro restaurant. Incredible ingredients of excellent quality are only the side dish to the main element which is the absolute protagonist: the hands imbued with knowledge and white art of the Patron Chef, Armando. . A person with a sincere and clean look and, exactly like freshly baked bread. A poem is what you will experience by letting yourself go into this wonderful world that is the LIGHTHOUSE."

"The view is beautiful from the restaurant and too often restaurants that have such views rely on this, rather than great food, to bring in the clients. I had read the reviews below and decided to go despite my cynicism. The food was delicious!!! Best meal in Palau. I tried the seafood ravioli which everyone was raving about on Trip Asvisor I now see what the fuss was about. It was the best ravioli I have had in my life (and I have been to Rome, Florence, Verona, Tuscany etc). Honestly this you need to try. My mother had mushroom pasta to try something different and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was also very very yummy. Conclusion: eat at this restaurant and definitely if there is only one thing you can order have the seafood ravioli."
