You need to reserve to get one of the few tables of this cute restaurant. You get to choose between 3 possibilities for each dish (antipasti, primo, secondo,... The food is very refined, well presented and tasty. Good value for the money.

Very small and friendly restaurant the owner could not be more hospitable the first course of five mixed fish was amazing cuttlefish,anchovies, stingray and dogfish. Also steak tartare was beautiful. We also had a fish soup which we pre ordered. Would highly recommend .

fantastic experience! small and cozy restaurant on the port of la maddalena. Menu with few dishes and probably vary depending on the catch of the day. We ate very well. indisputable the quality of the fish and not to mention the dessert!. I'll be fine. We will definitely come back! View menu

Ristorante molto carino vista mare..il menù di mare davvero ottimo..i chiusoni al nero di seppia assolutamente da gustare sono una squisitezza..fritto misto altrettanto ottimo e freschissimo e abbondante.. servizio ottimo e tempi d'attesa davvero ridotti nonostante fosse la notte di ferragosto.. consigliatissimo..

Our dinner at Il Ghiottone was the best we had during our holiday in La Maddalena. They were fully booked the first night we tried to dine there, so we ended up making a reservation for the following night. The tuna tartare appetizer was perfect and so were the two seafood pastas that we ordered. Would absolutely recommend dining here, just try to book your table in advance.

Ristorante molto carino davanti al porto de la Maddalena, dove mangiare con grandissima soddisfazione piatti a base di pesce. Sono rimasto positivamente sorpreso dal menù molto essenziale, con poche scelte, per me segnale positivo....e infatti.. è stata una cena fantastica! Piatti curati, prodotti freschi, impiattamento che rubava l'occhio. Menzione particolare per il polpo arrosto adagiato su una purea vellutata. Personale gentile e simpatico, sono stati rapidissimi nel servire, prezzi nella norma. Ci siamo alzati dal tavolo strasoddisfatti quindi lo consiglio. View menu

fourth year of holiday in this wonderful place and fourth year of visit on guiottone. beautiful to come back and even more beautiful to see the desire of the owners to elevate year after year the quality of their dishes and to succeed in improving what already seems unsurpassed. so many confirmations but also many pleasant surprises that enrich the experience in the degotation of cured and appetizing dishes all based on exclusively products of the island and also this is a particular that makes the difference! obvious next year visit this small and pretty restaurant run with soul! recommended!

Nuova esperienza e nuova e piacevole scoperta. Menù contenuto che offre prodotti prevalentemente di mare a prezzi assolutamente accessibile, infatti premio il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Tutto ciò che ho mangiato mi è piaciuto, dall'antipasto al dolce. Il mio antipasto di calamari scottati in padella con crema di datterino giallo, gocce di stracciatella e pane croccante super azzeccato, l'ho adorato. Idem per la tartare di tonno, freschissima. Forse il piatto meno entusiasmante l'orata in umido su crema di patate, con pomodorini e olive taggiasche, buono ma classico, mancava quel tocco in più presente, a mio parere, negli antipasti e nei primi. Il Ghiottone è stata una scoperta piacevole. Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante, piccolino ma curato, la nostra prima sera di vacanza. Il menu è molto limitato, ma i piatti proposti davvero ben realizzati. Abbiamo assaggiato i loro Chiusoni galluresi al sapore di mare, il piatto più apprezzato della serata: sapore unico, deciso, ricco e godurioso! Si poteva assaporare il mare, in tutta la sua freschezza. Il piatto del giorno era rappresentato invece da un 'pacchero con ragù di totano ', altrettanto buono e ben impiattato.
