"This is what I wrote a year ago... Simply great!! In all aspects, kitchen, service and quality, price ratio. A reference in Palamos. Brutal!! It continues to be one of my reference restaurants and that is why I wanted to write this opinion in all respect and in a responsible way, as well as in a constructive way. This summer Cala Taverna is more of a tavern than ever..it is possible that it can be, but after two visits this week, I think that something is going wrong in the room . Insufficient service, unprofessional and sometimes insolent with the customers, to us on Sunday after waiting for almost 20 minutes, in a bad way they told us that there were people in front of us..it is possible, but there is a way to say things..A few minutes later a couple left as they were also told in a bad manner, that they had to wait in the street. Seeing Tomas and other people from the kitchen bring dishes to the tables is very meaningful. It is not normal to go to a tavern and take 1H30 ' to make three dishes. The quality of food saves the furniture for the moment, but surely if it continues like this...it can also have consequences. I 'm a fan of your kitchen and I will insist, I don 't know the causes of the deficit in the room...but wanting to die of success is also dying. He estat en aquest restaurant moltes vegades: en parella, amb amics, amb la família i també sol. Totes i cada una de les vegades que hi he anat he sortit pensant en la propera data per tornar-hi. Extraordinari!! No accepten reserves, així que vam anar ben d'hora. Les recomanacions de Google no van fallar. Braves, un 10; musclos, un 10, lagarto, un 10, ànec, un 10 i Sacher, un 10. Restaurant al cas històric de Palamós. Lloc decorat a l'estil mariner (amb gust , acollidor i excel·lentment atès pel servei. Cuina amb certs tocs d'autor, productes de qualitat i pel meu gust unes racions més que generoses. Ofereixen un menú degustació diari (23€ , amb una relació qualitat-preu magnífica. Increíble! Para empezar, un servicio impecable y muy amable, siempre dispuestos a ayudar en la elección tanto de comidas como de vinos. Luego, la comida... está a otro nivel completamente, toda una experiencia y para nada una comida común, sobretodo en cuanto a pescado y marisco local. Recomiendo pillar de todo un poco para picar entre todos: porciones de tamaño perfecto para probar todo, unos sabores muy logrados sin perder la esencia del ingrediente principal pero a la vez con un toque muy original que os dejara con ganas de volver, y la verdad es que se come mejor compartiendo y probando la increíble calidad de tantos platos (y tan variados! . Un sitio espectacular en el centro de Palamos...
