"who would have thought that this small local restaurant north of hamburg would blow us the legs! without doubt the greatest taste experience for a long time! all from spicy wine, over the mozarella on the hillside, over the bresaola to the carpaccio with tasty, to pasta with mushrooms and up to a very simple salami pizza was for my this is not the last time that we look impulsiw in there produkt️. we don't overdo! we are still talking about the indescribable mozzarella and truffle that have given the carpaccio a completely strange but incredible taste! we also ordered a pizza and a nude dish, as we were quite hungry and we had not expected that they would taste so good despite the few ingredients. at the end, the waitress also had a great part of the merit when she made us feel at home with her wonderful mood and nice person at the other natives. she went to the restaurant and hummed and made sure we had what we needed."

very tasty eating, very friendly service, supernette chefin, and the chef can really sing: karaoke in Italian from the finest - paolo conte, adriano celentano, eros ramazotti. it tastes and makes really fun, a secret tip.

our first visit: friendly reception; fresh flowers everywhere on the tables; occasionally on a song on the lips of the host; reasonable fabric napkins; candlelight; a small fine tag map; fancy Italian dishes (farinata, artichoke soup, kalbsravioli and everywhere many fresh herbs....grazie tante!

the opposite is a bit of awkward as an industrial area, while the service and eating are good. we had excellent thin and crispy pizzas as well as well prepared and delicious pasta (seafood and lamb). I really recommend this hotel if you like to eat Italian. the prices are somewhat more than in the middle, but a good value for money. View menu

"Eating makes slim, intelligent and pretty" was the statement of the owner dalia. this funny statement fits to their warmth with which all guests are greeted. The restaurant is our favorite here in the opposite, because eating is always fresh and very tasty. this could be visited by various people (by friends, family or at a high time) under proof.

we were here for the first time and - as many other guests on this evening obviously also - like to come back. the card is small, but constantly changing. but there is something for everyone. the personal service would only be surpassed by the excellent vote of deswirtes, who always gave the best of an Italian song and thus brought a real holiday mood to Hamburg-Niendorf. at last something different than always pizza and pasta!

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
