"We were visiting a friend who breeds horses in the area. She, being fluent in Japanese knew the cook quite well. We were told that he had spent five years working in Michelin star restaurants in Paris. The menu is limited to three choices for each course. The menu changes daily and is priced at 29 euros. Being three people, we chose the razor clams, stuffed courgette flowers in tempura batter and a veal terrine. All dishes were skillfully cooked and presented. I thought the razor clams, cooked in a light curry broth, outstanding. Our main courses were of veal, pork and dorade. Again, skillfully cooked and presented with long cubes of yellow and green courgettes, carrots, spinach and small onions. Light jus accompanied the dishes. We all selected the same desert of poached peach, summer berries and meringue. It was delicious and light. I could have eaten two! We had two excellent bottles of wine: one a Sancerre the other a Cabernet Franc. They were around 25-35 Euros. All in all: superb food, outstanding cooking and good service. It's a place definitely worth visiting."

Can't understand the (few) bad comments - they must be living in a parallel universe to us & all the other (many) appreciative reviewers! The meal was excellent, the chef & staff were very pleasant & knowledgeable, the restaurant comfortable & tranquil. A perfect start to our holiday!

All my encouragement to this young leader. He thinks of vegetarians, even if the offer is limited for the moment, the intention is there, and above all... it's very good, my taste buds remember. From the choice in the wines, a pleasantly surprising exotic pavlova, an equally pleasant place. View menu

We were looking for a place or dinner on Saturday night... and we weren't disappointed! Very good warm welcome. Respect for measures of social distanciation and hygiene. We ate very well!!! Let him eat, dessert and drinks!! Generous quantities and a lot of taste! A pleasure! I recommend. Thank you for this very friendly and welcome moment by repeating our apologies if we were too noisy during our discussions (even if you told us not to have been embarrassed).

We have been in this restaurant couple of years ago. It was OK but not more than that. Now it completely other story. Arrival of young Japanese chef Toshitaka Omiya things get super. French cuisine visited by him tastes and looks beautiful. Desert menu will certainly get better in future ( chocolate, matcha, rhubarb??) Tarte pomme %100 apples without crust a must. Service is super kind and smooth.Bravo to the owner of the restaurant who convinced the chef to come to Perche. One of the best restaurants in Perche!
