La Torre - Menu

First time we have had a meal at La Torre, we were not disappointed. Lovely and attentive staff, with a warming atmosphere. We will certainly be back.

Visited last night for the Tuesday night pasta deal. Amazing food, so fresh and tasty and excellent service as usual. It is so good to have a restaurant of this quality on our door step!

The food, atmosphere, and staff are all incredible at this restaurant! I always love coming here, it's definitely the best around. The owner is very attentive and makes you feel welcome, along with the rest of the staff.

Really good choice on the menu, we have ordered over the last few months because it all sounds so good. We have found all starters, mains and desserts that we have ordered are as good as the restaurant food!!! Something different and a little treat as a takeaway.All that is missing is the lovely restaurant atmosphere.

Been here quite a few times, food, service and atmosphere is always fantastic. Last night seemed to be absolutely phenomenal, my awkward boyfriend (who is a fussy ex chef himself) ordered his fillet steak blue and said FOR ONCE it was cooked to absolute perfection as was every other persons meal of the table of 6. The food was outstanding, very tasty and well presented and the cheesecake was to die for .The evening was outstanding so thank you . Happy memories and fun times . The owner of the restaurant is friendly, which is probably the only positive aspect of this establishment. Unfortunately, the food is extremely disappointing. My pasta was undercooked and hard, and the sauce was oily and not at all like a traditional carbonara. When we complained, the woman with blonde hair was rude and seemed to not believe us at first. Eventually, she apologized after realizing the mistake. I will never return to this restaurant. For a good Italian meal in North West Leicestershire, I recommend Zimani's in Ashby de la Zouch. It is the best Italian food you will ever taste.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times because I enjoy supporting local businesses, and I am happy to report that the food was delicious as always. However, the service was lacking during this visit. It was a busy Saturday night, but the young male waiter overseeing our table was not very attentive. Whenever I asked him questions, he would say he would find out but never came back with an answer, so I had to ask someone else. I understand that he may have been new and not expected to know everything, but I would have appreciated him finding out and returning to us.
