"the vegan burger was very good, accompanied by a small rocket salad to replace the coleslaw yes, this restorer knows that mayonnaise is not vegan, it deserves to be emphasized and very good fries, I recommend and I will come back! located in st georges, very nice old and very quiet area it changes from st jean! . the vegan burger was very good made with a rosti, ratatouille, guacamole, rocket and the staff knows that coleslaw that is usually served with burgers is not suitable for vegans so they gave me rocket instead. i didn't take any dessert but i read somewhere that they have fruit desserts, so just ask. the location is great, very quiet and beautiful."

I had the vegan burger, it came with fries and a salate. it was a lot of kartoffels, but I could come into them. Vegan options are marked on the menu. the waiter was also very nice and understood English.

October 2016: meatless burger (centered meats), banal fries, a little service. find friends around a beer and fries why not, but not for the burger new comment in response to this comment. previous review update on 2016-10-18

The vegan burger is just a giant hashbrown served with a side of potatoes. I was given salad with a creamy dressing even though I ordered the vegan burger. My onmi partner was happy with her food so good place for a mixed veggie/omni meal but fried carb on carb with a side of fried carbs was all a bit much.

The burger is the only vegan option on the menu. While filling, the patty appears to be made out of potatoes not the most nutritious or protein filled. After a couple days in France I was starved for some vegan protein, and La Mouss'tache did not deliver. The service was also exceedingly slow. That said, the barman was kind enough to call us a cab at the end of the night.

Easy to find bar with vegan burger meal. Easy to order as the bar staff clearly understood we wanted the vegan option (and our French is rubbish! The burger is tasty with plenty of salsa, onions, salads and is served with green salad and very nice chips. You can get a meal deal for 15e which includes a fruit soupe dessert basically liquidised strawberries with some other fruit and mint. It was quite refreshing as it was a hot day but not very exciting. Interesting bar in an old building, there are plenty of seats inside and out. The atmosphere was very laid back but service was quick.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
