Landhaus Walter - Menu

I just drove by the car to eat something for dinner. eating was very good and the service was quite fast. not so many people and the price are affordable. 26 euro for a T-Bone-Steak with supplement and a beer. in another room there was also a jazz concert, so the atmosphere was quite nice.

We started in the Beer Garden the largest in Hamburg. The tables and stools hadn’t been cleaned for ages, everything was sticky and dirty. We moved to the restaurant area and it was also disappointing. We paid for King Prawn, a small...square of cod a red pepper’n’courgette kebab. Way too expensive and not very tasty. Toilets also needed attention

On the whole, this venue for us was just average German food. Menu is not large. Prices are not really too much. Location is in the large City Park. Service was fine, actually quick. Which leads me, frankly, to conclude the food is not totally...home made, but bought and put together. daring is needed in both presentation and taste. Have been here for the Sunday brunch which was much choice. Have been here for Kaffee Trinken. Cakes fine. Does have heated outdoor seating for smokers. AND in good weather a good amount of out door seating

in large and whole, this place was for us only average German eating. menu is not big. the prices are not really too high. location is in the big city park. the service was in order, actually fast. which leads me to the conclusion that eating is not entirely homemade, but is bought and put together. both in the presentation and in the taste is more daring. I was here for the Sunday brunch that was a great choice. were already here for a coffee drink. pie great. has heated sitting outdoors for smoker. and with good weather many sitting outdoors.

We had picked this place for a class reunion and managed to get a table outside in the shade because the sun was shining and it was very mild. We started late afternoon and the hard core finished just after midnight. The place was heaving...and they also had a wedding going on. The staff serving us were very friendly and apart from the odd mixup in drinks there were no complaints whatsoever. The majority of us had asparagus which was quite acceptable and a good portion. We had been there the third time over the last years and may just do it again in another

planned visit with friends to brunch on a very wet Sunday. the walter opens the rooms after the number of visitors. warm and comfortable on a cold, wet day. the staff and reception were the same. the tasty looking and extensive buffet includes hot and cold food, so a large selection and a lot of it. but it would be rude! and delicious too. our group had mixes of hot and cold and all agreed that it was delicious. there were even cakes. all in all about 35 € for two people including drinks. and well full. the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. yes, good value for money and it is worth going back there.

the country house walter has a good location in the middle of the city park and attracts so much needed on summer evenings. eating is, however, less than average pub food. Although it is not particularly expensive, there are elsewhere better eating for less, and the situation seems to be its strength. walter also promotes himself as a venue for the local blues club. the two paintings I was there, both randomly Thursdays, there was certainly music, but the atmosphere was very one single bar for people middle ages. so if they are single, Thursday evening in walter are the right place for them. since I am mid-aged and happy married, I found the attention quite disturbing!

Lovely outside seating that includes a beer garden and links to the city park. The inside has a dark bar, coat check, DJ BOOTH dance floor. Tons of people rode their bikes! The menu was limited with traditional offerings that were presented in a...nouvelle style. Nothing out of this world. The funniest thing is the dance floor scene. yo crowd getting down to hits. Worst part is that they don't want to accept credit cards and will say no when you ask. Since we didn't realize this we did not have enough cash. Only when they realized that did they relent and admit they can take credit cards. So a good place for business travelers makes it really hard to do business with them.

Visiting the enormous Stadtpark we decided to eat first before venturing on. And so pleased we did. The weather permitted us to eat outside underneath huge sun shades. The menu was extensive so really pushed for choice. The beers came quickly enough but the white...wine spritzer was rather poor. Not a good wine. No to be deterred our friend ordered a pulled pork burger with sweet potato fries. This came with an enormous salad and looked amazing. WE ordered the sea bass, with the fried potatoes placed on top of some vegetables. The meals was superbly cooked, and arrived hot and well presented. A little wait but worth it. I ordered a salad and was no disappointed, all types of salad ingredient...
