"Nice looking restaurant/bar and very quiet, even on a Thursday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not particularly trained. The food was overall disappointing: for a French restaurant, you would expect good bread, but the bread that came w/the moules was an underbaked store-bought baguette and the burger was extremely dry (although cooked medium ? and served on backyard bbq buns like those that come 6 for £1 at Tescos. On the flip side, the beef bourguignon was delicious, as was the lamb dish tried by our friends. The French onion soup was mediocre, but the apple tart was also amazing. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but there are so many better options that I don 't see us coming back to Le Baron."

I can't comment on the food or restaurant as they were closed when I booked. I reserved a table for me and 3 customers in front of the rugby in twickenham. they have not opened on the playag without having to book a midday reservation on a day when each restaurant is booked in twickenham and richmond. we had to have a cornish pastie and doughnuts on the way to the floor. why accept a reservation when they are closed? Why close to a playag if they are guaranteed a complete house?

This booking was a big flop. We had booked it for a birthday dinner. When we reached the restaurant, there was only one waitress who cleaned up. We knocked the door, but she didn't open. Finally we had to eat in Twickenham Church Road. What a goodbye. The Le Baron could have the courtesy of mailing us to say that they do not receive on our booking, but no such message. I would sincerely recommend that this restaurant is removed from the opentable list. The booking was for Sunday 8.00 hrs. we had to drive half an hour to get there, so everything in a big disaster for a birthday contract.

I am unable to provide a review of the food or restaurant as they were closed when I made a reservation. I had reserved a table for myself and three guests before the rugby match in Twickenham. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open on the day of the game, leaving us without a lunch reservation on a day when every restaurant in Twickenham and Richmond was fully booked. We ended up having a Cornish pasty and doughnuts on our way to the stadium. It is frustrating that they accepted our reservation when they were closed, especially on a day when they were guaranteed to have a full house due to the game.
