The restaurant is part of the wine cooperative. You can order a matching wine with each dish. It's great fun to try different wines. All their own wines can be ordered by the glass.

"We have stopped a number of times in the nice little square in Pomerols for a coffee on our way to walk the Circuit La Via Domitia near Pinet. We normally have our coffee sitting outside the Café des Sportes or the Café Olé when the Café des Sportes is closed for the afternoon. One Friday recently we were having our coffee in the Café des Sportes we noticed how busy Café Olé was at lunchtime. There were over 25 people having the 13 Euro 3 course lunch, so we decided to return on the Sunday. The square is very nice and there is a very pleasant atmosphere. Although the starters had changed, two of the three choices for the main course were the same we were pleased to see. We both had the salad with smoked salmon which was very good. One of us had the tuna steak with a Riesling wine sauce with rice and a very nice ratatouille. I had the Piece de Boucher, which supposedly is “a special cut that the butcher is putting aside for himself”. Mine was like rump steak but a little more tender. It was cooked rare just as I requested. It came with home- made frites which were very good. We both had a coupe (scoop) of both chocolate and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The third choice for the main course on the others two days was veal escaploe and calamares.Overall, this was excellent value at €13 each. The service was good. It seems like Café Olé is run by its owners. Surprisingly for France they are open every day. We will certainly return frequently."
