"This place was unbelievable. We came here cuz of a recommendation from a local that dines here often and said everything else around was "**** food". We intended to go to Chez nenesse but they are closed (as are a lot of local places in August cuz it's their vacation month) and this place was open. I'm not a huge fan of Yelp and reviews of overrated places and this place is a hidden gem more people need to know about! They only make dinner and lunch on certain days. We came on a Thursday and they were serving dinner. Their charcuterie was out of this world and we had the sausage with aligote and it was phenomenal. They don't speak English here but they are so warm and welcoming. We don't speak much French but were able to fake our way through it. Mom and pop shop that makes traditional homemade food. Highly recommend."

We stayed in the apartment right across the street from this place so we decided to try it on our first night in Paris.

This is a small family run bistrot that is right close to the tourist shops of Le Marais but feels like it is in a village. We were a group of 8 that booked last minute for a late lunch. Our hosts were not only happy to accommodate us but also provided other items that were not on the set menu that day.

We ate here tonight and my my it was truly unreal. Every aspect was perfect. The charcuterie starter, the delicious house red, the epic steak and the wonderful surroundings. The bill of €80 had us feeling like we took advantage of the lively hosts. We're only in Paris for the weekend, a shame as I'd love to go back time and time again. Delighed we stumbled upon this little gem. View menu

We went and was very impressed! This place is very plain, almost monastic with mainly plain wall, furniture and no music blaring however the menu is very simple. We had charcuterie & avocado salad, they were very simple, tasty & well done. Osso bucco main course & grill beefsteak was a triumph, delicious & done to perfection! The apple flan was tangy & just right. This place exceeded our expectation and we would be happy to go back if we stay in this area again

This is really an authentic gem, as it seems to be sent back in time to the 50s or 60s. The restaurant is tiny and very simple but it has charme. As said in previous reviews, there is a daily menu with a bunch of plates within to choose. I had veal, which was cooked superbly and it was so soft and tasty. Then I had a creme caramel which was authentically done with fresh eggs.25cl Côte du Rhone wine was accompanying the dinner.Plus coffee, the bill has been 28 euros which is a really honest price. Will be back
