"Had lunch here today after a visit to the catacombs. The barman waiter was quite cheery and accepting of my limited French. Happy to give us the English version of the menu.I had the entrecot (ribeye steak) with bearnaise sauce and a beer. My wife had the chicken pasta of the day with a gerwitztraminer. The steak was quite OK and what you would expect for €15. The chicken pasta had too much salt in it. But again it was only €12.50.I'd sum this place up as cheap and cheerful. Nothing wrong with it but it is not a taste sensation either. Quite fair value really."

A comida é gostosa, a cerveja é gelada, a dona/gerente é muito simpática, mas eles não aceitam cartão. Foi bom, mas pra uma vez só.

Local brasserie if you are staying nearby. Very pleasant evening meal with healthy sized portions. Nice choice and not too long to wait. Green beans especially good with a steak, a change from chips. Good value.

Had a paint of Affligem beer yesterday with a friend and even tho the bar was ok and the service as well, had a bitter surprise when I saw the bill. 18 Eur for two.Not again, thanks.Ps- otherwise the neighbourhood is quite nice, close to the catacombs of paris
