"I wanted to bring a friend to a tipical Tuscan place in the centre, spending the right amount. The waitresses were very gentle and welcoming. The bill: Fiorentina steak (1kg) 44€ 2 side dishes 11€ wine (Bolgheri, very good) 30€ 2 dessert 10€ water 2.50€ service 9.75€ 20%the fork discount: total around 85€. Fiorentina was paid @4.4€/hg and it was half of the tipical thickness (no T bone) and service was exagerately high (after complaining it was reduced to 5€ total...slightly above the average). There are much better non touristic places for which meat quality and thickness are much higher (at the same price or less too). Warning for tourists: consider that in Italy tips are not mandatory like in the US or south america, there is a cost line called servizio or coperto that ranges normally between 1 and 3 €. I did not like the use of other countries ' habits to justify an increase of cost in the bill."

our server was great. they did not have our reservation, although I had made it months in advance, but they worked to make it right. not complaining, the house wine is the best we had in italia.

Wonderful restaurant. Food was fantastic. Beef with green peppercorn sauce was so tasty and so tender. We also had an excellent pappardelle with wild boar. Velma and her staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable also.

Locale in zona centrale, molto accogliente e carino, il personale gentile. Sono stata qui in occasione di una vacanza a Firenze, abbiamo mangiato benissimo ed i prezzi sono onesti. Alla fine ci hanno offerto pure i cantucci con il vinsanto. Lo consiglio vivamente.

this restaurant was excellent! very important note: this restaurant does not honor open table reservations. we had the pleasure of being able to sit and enjoy a great dinner. if you want a reservation here, you need to call the restaurant. both of our teens have heavy peanut allergies and they were understandable and in the position to take them. I recommend this place very much!

This restaurant was excellent! Very important note: this restaurant does NOT honor Open Table reservations. We were very lucky to be seated and experience an amazing dinner. If you want a reservation here, you must call the restaurant. Both of our teenagers have severe peanut/tree nut allergies and they were understanding and able to accommodate them. I highly recommend this place!

Cena tra amici con antipasti bruschetta al pomodoro, mix di pecorini, salumi misti e fegatini. Proseguito con ravioli maremmani con crema tartufata, ravioli burro e salvia, pici con cavolo nero e salsiccia , pappardelle al cinghiale e un filetto al pepe verde. Con dolci, acqua, una bottiglia di vino, 7 coperti totale circa 35€ a testa. Tutto molto buono e prezzo onestissimo. Consigliato!!!
