We had a wonderful meal here. The food is great and the service is fantastic. The atmosphere was fabulous!

We used TripAdvisor for recommendations and it has not failed us. We called at 6 pm to try to get a table - was told only bar seating is available. We said yes of course little did we know that it's the best bar seating ever, cosy and comfortable. I had a spaghetti with peperocino and garlic - it's the best!

Received: friendly raft with prosecco and appetite. card: Extensive choice of pasta. No pizza. Different menus. Servant g: raft and thoughtful. food: spaghetti with scampis; Traitor. Ravioli de mama; simple, not particular. A small mint was a gigantic self who clearly drank too much wine with friends and passing at the table did the popie jopie.

without reservation for a person it was not easy to eat here anyway. the reason for this: the house was full. but eating and customer service are great. the manager explained to me that it takes a while, but waiting for eating has been worth it. the pasta dish has tasted very well, and the wine recommendation fits exactly. this restaurant shows just how friendly the small town of cermatt is. a great example of gastronomy.

giuseppe is an institution, a pity that we haven't noticed for so long. go, order the menu and enjoy it. we can't imagine someone getting disappointed. italien lives here, in the midst of disguised. my menu with pasta an saffron with speck, entrecôte al barolo and a class appetizer was tasteful and priceless in disguise. the dessert completes the menu excellently. that classical Italian canzoni from the loudspeaker are played here is a bonus. ritorneremo presto carissimi!

We enjoyed our farewell to Zermatt meal at this wonderful restaurant. Giuseppe is actively involved in keeping this place running, customers happy and food served hot to the tables. We opted for 2 of the "classic" pasta dishes which followed a wonderful rucola salad with parmesan and para ham with roasted artichoke hearts and buffalo mozzarella. Our pasta was hot and al dente when served. No unnecessary waiting. Giuseppe circulates and checks guests satisfaction. He also takes the orders and explains the preparation. All in all one of our best meals in Zermatt.

When we were in Zermatt we ate at Giuseppe's on two occasions. The food was excellent - the salmon with lemon risotto was my favourite dish of the holiday. Service was friendly and efficient; on the second night we ate there we sat outside and we were getting a bit chilly towards the end of the meal but, although the inside of the restaurant was pretty busy by then, they managed to squeeze us in at the bar area for our desserts. Nice touches included bruschetta and a glass of prosecco on arrival, a massive chunk of cheese after the main course and grappa with the coffee. I chose Da Giuseppe looking at the wonderful tripadvisor reviews, the only bad review I had seen was saying it was difficult to get a table so I called as quickly as I could - only 4 days before the reservation- and I got a table with no trouble at all. Not only that I arrived 1h late and they kept my table.
