"We were a bit late for the usual lunch hours while in Cannes so ended up in this pizza/pasta joint on Rue Jean de Riouffe that was still open. What a mistake! We took the menus for €14.50 and €16.50 which included Spaghetti Bolognese plus a dessert and Spaghetti Scampi plus a coffee. The pasta was grossly overcooked and the Bolognese sauce came right out of a supermarket jar (a bad one at that). The SGAGHETTI scampi came with four good sized shrimps that were overcooked (dry) and the cream sauce had no seefood flavor or any flavor whatsoever. The pasta had been cooked without adding salt to the water so it also was tasteless. Service was quick but not particularily friendly. Do not go there!"

We had terrible food poisoning after eating the fish soup for dinner on evening of 8 September, which is still with us after our holiday. Choose carefully from the menu and do not be persuaded just by the ambience.

There was a big exhibition just near by - the restaurant was FULL but still , the service was excellent and all dishes tasted wonderful - they did not compromise neither on quality of food nor on quality of service !!

Le Crillon serves a mix of solid dishes such as steak and chips with salad and chicken with the same accompaniments, plus fish dishes and good pizzas, plus an invariably tasty dish of the day. It's family-run, a warm and convivial place with a terrace that is perfect for wachin g the world go by.

I went to this restaurant with two friends; it was our first time there, and it was a very pleasant experience. Everything was beautiful, starting with the waitress who was friendly and her smile didn't for once disappear. Food and drinks are delicious, and free WiFi is available. I certainly recommend this spot.

After a busy day we were tired and were looking for a good value restaurant with excellent food. This fitted the bill nicely! Good choice, not extensive but covered al options. Well prepared and service was good too. Just a few mins walk from the main sea front, so better value. Good wine and drinks menu, although the Coke in the pic was mine as I was driving!

We live in Cannes part of the year and have often found that restaurants, which are so desperately competing for the tourist and conference spend, sadly disappoint on the basics. The Crillon is an honest brasserie in the old style, simple food, a plat du jour and goodish service. And it's not expensive either.Try fish or pasta, both were well cooked when we last visited

Le Criminal should be their name. I had a mild case of poisoning the next day, with upset stomach among other symptoms. The food, or whatever it is called what they serve, was horrible, tasteless, and cooked to... whatever the cook (can't call him chef) had decided. The only positive side was the service. Prompt (of course we were the only ones there) and cheerful. But never again!

After one of these long days of visits, we realized that it was 21 hours and that we would do better to find something to eat. Originally attracted by the obvious offers on the front façade in front of the festival palace, we walked in a side street, arrived at the crillon and decided to try the coup. I had a steak, my wife salmon and king prawn brochette and my son teen a pizza, sprinkled with the pink house. all absolutely excellent and with a very friendly service. sitting outside, good atmosphere and always the cane buzz.
