I had been meaning to go here for along time and finally managed it on our last trip to saint gervais. It was super from start to finish the whole experience from the amazing service to the wonderful food cooked over a wood fire in front of you, not cheap but worth it for a special treat .

We were delighted to eat a real savoyard fondue in this place, a cottage in the city hidden in the trees, a splendid setting, a perfect service, everyone has a smile, no wait, it was delicious and much compious for 21 euros pers, we couldn't finish! This is a fun, alpine chalet style place with a crowd pleasingly wide menu and hard working staff. My wife and I were recommended it by our hotel and we were glad to have gone for dinner. We had the €32 Galete menu 3 courses with three choices for each. If you choose to, you can cook your own main course at the table. Portions were good and the food was fresh and well presented. At €85 total for two, including 3 glasses of local wine and a bottle of sparkling water, we felt it was good value. The only fly in the ointment (NOT the restaurant’s fault) was the large table of very noisy young British kids next to us. Come on, English parents, keep your children out of earshot. View menu
