"grâce au mois d'août ou les resto sont fermés , on est tombé dessus par hasard sur tripadvisor et on n'a pas été déçu de notre soirée.un accueil des plus sympa sur le premier service , car le soir ,il y en a deux.des plats copieux et cuisinés avec délicatesse ainsi que de bons conseils pour les vins corses que je ne connaissais pas .une bonne ambiance avec en musique de fond des chants corse et la gentillesse du personnel.ce fut tellement bon que l'on y retourne avec nos enfants avant leur départ vers d'autres horizons."

"Alors la catastrophe....Autant en hiver pour fondue et raclette c'est sympa. Autant ce soir....Service et cuisine à égalité. Que c'est il passé ?Truc chouette la pina colada de la marmotte , c'est ce qui nous à fait venir ! Après ça c'est gâté.Entrée foi gras avec pain de mi très bof trop grillé...Plats arrivés en décalés et longtemps Après .Ensuite problème dans la commande car ils se rendent compte après avoir servis et débarrassé les entrées qu'il manque un ingrédient en cuisine donc changement d'une galette.On a donc mangé en décalé et pas même un petit excusez nous pour le désagrément... arfGalette sous vide ou réchauffée mais pas bonnes nous passerons sur les poivrons crus en déco ou le bout de melon qui n'ont rien à faire là.Moralité on c'est sauvé avant le dessert de peur d'être encore plus déçus.L'apéro était nickel !!!"

"We decided to have dinner at Hippopotamus because nothing else was still open that late in the evening, it turned out to be a poor choice unfortunately. Waiters seem to be unmotivated and lack friendliness. They have fixed roles apparently, so you'll need to find the right waiter to order your food or to pay. The menu focuses on grilled meat and the choice is fairly limited. The prices are excessive in comparison to the size of the portions. The grilled meat we ordered was decent, but the fries that came with it lacked crunchiness and the portions were tiny. Vegetables need to be ordered separately. The food arrived quickly, but that couldn't really make up for the disappointment. Wouldn't recommend going there."

"We loved this place as refined as it was disappointing. It does not pay a mine from the outside but you will be extremely well received inside. The staff is very pleasant and warm and the food is good, full of spices that make travel. Just a regret, the little bones in the chicken dish that are actually pieces of chicken skewer and some entries are very copyy (see photo 1) and can be taken in a dish by completing with a support (sold separately). I almost took a naan cheese with garlic for the road so it was too good We took a half bottle of wine, 2 admissions, 2 dishes, 2 accompaniments, 1 dessert : 86€."
