Le Homy's - Menu

We were recommended this place by our Air b and b host. The waitress was more than happy to translate the specials into English for us. My partner had a pork dish and I had a beef dish. Great sized portions and tasty as well.

We visited here twice during our 5 day stay in Nice.Praise indeed as usually we shun a repeat visit for fear of disappointment. Both times a great welcome with today's menu on a chalk board brought to the table straight away. No wait for drinks either. Menu totally changed for second visit---choosing was very difficult !!

We waited a lot for our two dishes(more than 1 h), I had the impression that they forgot to give our order since they came two times to ask for it. My wife was not able to eat her salad, and it is a lot to call it a salad, and I expected more from my wok (but at least the chicken was delicious). I've been going to Homy's for over a year now and I love it. I always take friends there when they visit. The food is delicious yet reasonably priced, the staff is professional and friendly and they have a fabulous sunny terrace overlooking the Place de Liberation. It"s a place I really feel at "home" in and go back again and again. Oh, and don't forget to order the Tarte Tatin - to die for!

We had a great meal here on the last evening of our holiday in Nice. It's mainly frequented by locals and has various specials available each day as well as a standard menu. The food is of a high standard, and the desserts are particularly good. The waiting staff are efficient and attentive and can all speak some English. We enjoyed eating here and would definitely eat here if on holidays in Nice again.

The place is very welcoming. tThe owners are very pleasant, friendly and attentive to details. They speak English, which helps a lot for visitors from outside the country. The food and the service are very good. The restaurant is situated in the lively Place General-de-Gaulle and sitting outside on a good day is quite enjoyable, especially on Sunday when the street market is open. Good place to meet friends. We love this place for breakfast or lunch when the morning market is teeming with people. You won't encounter a tourist or hear English spoken.We sit outside, rain or shine.After a year has gone by, it is still as good as it was in 2016. ( see our previous review "As local as it gets".)It's a short tram-ride from anywhere in Nice and the market is one of the best anywhere catering to locals seeking a variety of only the freshest ingredients.And Homy is the best place to relax before or after you shopping adventure.

If you live around Liberation or north of Place de Gaulle in Nice this is definitely one of the smarter restaurants with a more varied menu. The service is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for the owners - Michele and Joel. The menu has a slight Vietnamese influence which is so much more interesting as Nice seems to be full of restaurants with the same old things on the menu. I've taken friends and family here, as well as sending lots of clients, and everyone has come back with excellent things to say. Well worth a visit!

This place is off the beaten track for tourists and is completely local in every respect.The labor is divided between who sets up the table, who takes the order and who delivers it. Each with a cheerful ritual and dialogue.At lunchtime, the outside tables, beautifully sunny until about 2:30 pm are restricted to diners and no coffee or bar only service is provided.
