"the happy Buddha is a pleasant and well located restaurant (just next to the castle.) easy access (free parking places nearby direct), the facade is sober and discreet so that you could pass in front of the restaurant without paying attention. It would be a shame because we eat very well. friendly, varied buffet and quality, staff attentive to the expectations/needs/desirs of the guests. for 12,90 € per person, you can access the buffet at your disposal, which offers an interesting choice of Asian dishes of good quality (fish, beef, duck, pork, cooked chicken.) shrimp doughs, steamed dish, nems, spring rolls, Cantonese rice, soy salad and jumped noodles are also part of the buffet. desserts are more limited but still sufficient: two kinds of Asian pastries, mini beef with chocolate to spread, white cheese and its red fruit coulis as well as floating island. a small courtyard at the back of the restaurant offers a pleasant setting for the beautiful days. Irreproachable hygiene!"

Little front that doesn't pay for mine. has the interior Asian decoration. the reception is smiling and cordial. I recommend the buffet that is provided and cooked with fresh and tasteful products. We will return there because the kitchen is good and reasonable prices.

long ago we hadn't made a family restaurant. We were very welcome. The children found their happiness at the buffet, but you have to go for the à la carte dishes. the different dishes tasted were very good but the beef lok lak is a delight, only for that one there must go.

It's been a long time since we had the opportunity to go to this restaurant. with the new buffet formula, we enjoyed the dishes offered: choice and quality. not counting the most pleasant reception: smile, staff listening to its helpful customers etc. we recommend this little restaurant for a great time View menu

We went to eat in this restaurant on Sunday noon. We all took the buffet and we ate very well. There are certainly less choices than in the buffets of Asian chains but the quality is at the rendezvous, it is definitely above. I also found the price of very honest alcohols. We'll go back there without hesitation.

a very pleasant evening in this small restaurant that doesn't pay for mine by its front. On Friday evening, at the beginning of the evening, we saw that the seats were not long vacant! buffet menu chosen plus a cocktail for the aperitif = 22 euros or a quality ratio of the most fair prices! in small quantities, but of quality! crunchy nems, not greedy, mellow sushi inside and not dry, well-accomodated meat dishes...what to say! nothing to add, except perhaps the sympathy of the people in the room and in the kitchen that is most pleasant...I will go back and advise the eyes closed!

"Diner at this prestigious Michelin-restaurant was part of our absolute divine stay at Chateau d'Adomenil. What we really liked about this experience: very friendly welcome and a constant feeling of being pampered. Perfectly designed location and ambiance, including the aperitif on the beautiful porch. Aperitif came with very elegant and tasty amuse-bouches. In fact all the food in the menu was impeccable and cooked to perfection. Excellent cuisson and presentation. What we liked less: no flexibility in swapping items from the 3 fixed menu's, no à la carte option. Prices very high, even to Michelin standards. Especially the wines were overpriced and served in minimal amounts. These days it is possible to select great wines for reasonable prices, if you are willing to look outside the box and not (only) stick to the traditional French classics. For our taste, the dishes could have been a bit more outspoken. Especially the entrée with asperges lacked 'je-ne-sais-quoi'. We'd expected to be blown away by the food, that was not the case. Staff was mainly young, attentive and very dedicated. In my opinion, it would add to a pleasant, informal ambiance if you are not surrounded by 3,4 waiters buzzing 'round your table to refill water, remove breadcrumbs, remove plates (before being fully finished) and all that Michelin-fuzz which feels a bit outdated nowadays. But perhaps guests still expect such theatre in this chateau-setting. Taking everything account, we did have a very lovely evening, also thanks to our gracious and charming lady host. The art of welcoming and pampering guests is obviously in good hands."
