"We as a family of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenagers had a fantastic time at Le Moulin Monbahus. The owners Barry, Silvia and Karen are very welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great holiday. We loved dining in the bistro as the food was amazing and plenty of it, all home made and the fish and chips were so good we all had it twice in one week. One of our teenagers has food allergies and it can be difficult eating out but Silvia has a vast knowledge of allergies and served him a three course meal each night we dined there. After dinner Barry hosts quizz nights and game show nights, we had a very funny game of play your cards right, and then spend the rest of the evening on the decked area outside the bistros chatting with other guests and Barry , Silvia and Karen. We stayed in the Gite which is a 200 year old stone building that has amazing charm and character and had plenty of space for all of us. We had our own garden with decking and large dining table which was perfect for the evenings we had barbecues. The grounds and swimming pool are lovely and well kept, the sun is on the pool from Sun up till sun down with plenty of lounger and parasols. Le Moulin is in a nice peaceful location and there are many places nearby to keep everyone entertained from lakes and rivers for swimming diving boat hire to amazing 600 year old villages. Le Moulin's website has all the info of the attractions and Barry, Silvia and Karen also recommend places the kids would like ie hydro foil boats on the river go karting. Again we had a great week and recommend Let Moulin to everyone, Thank you Barry, Silvia and Karen, hope to see you again. Tony , Michelle, Chris, Julia and all the kids."

Have made several visits with friends for fish and chips Friday tea and Sunday lunches. The fish and lamb in particular are always perfectly cooked, the portions are large and with drinks included makes eating here great value. There is a friendly quiz on Friday nights and as always the proprietors are extremely friendly and helpful.

always a warm welcome of barry and sylvia. food is excellent and at a very reasonable price. really worth the detour, but don’t forget to phone them the day before to make a reservation. (avis d’origine) always a warm welcome from barry and sylvia. eating is great and very cheap. worth visiting, but be sure to call them on the day before a reservation.

Now under new management and branded as jj le moulin this place advertisers itself as offering tapas. Whilst what we were served was perfectly acceptable in itself, nothing seemed to have been anywhere near Spain. 'Bought in deep fried things ' HP a more accurate description, although calamari and croquettas did make an appearance, they were clearly also bought in. It 's a lovely setting and well worth a visit, just don 't expect tapas.

Hired a Gite for 2 weeks in July 2015, the gite was well equipped the location was remote but not too far for things to do, our 2 boys loved it there. We took our chocolate lab who enjoyed the holiday just as much, a large garden for the evening strolls to burn off the calories of the excellent food. The whole place was just superb, great family atmosphere really made you feel at home, the home cooked food was excellent a real gem of a place for a great holiday.

We found the accommodation clean and generous in size. It had all the amenities you need and a God send of English Tv especially as we have a 13 year old. Pool was plenty big enough and we had it to ourselves most days. Our hosts Barry , Sylvia and Karen we're welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They made a beautiful roast dinner in their bistro on Sunday which we thoroughly enjoyed! Don't be put off by no air on if going in summer as the thick stone walls mean the interior stays beautiful and cool, I didn't miss it once and we had some really hot days! Be prepared that it is off the beaten track so no real supermarkets close by but there is a village shop and boulangerie a couple of km...

Hired both the gite and the cottage for two weeks both accommodations were fantastic with every amenity you would need from a hairdryer to an ironing board! The complex itself was beautiful very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Barry, Sylvia and Karen couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. Le moulin is slightly secluded and in its own little world however that's what makes this place special. We drove the 9 hours from Calais so had the luxury of having a car to get about in and there are some beautiful places to visit to entertain all ages from waters sports to go karts! Just one suggestion if you are intending to go to the nearby water parks French law states no shorts t...
