"Stopped off in this rather quaint Bakery Restaurant in Highgate High Street this morning on our trek around the affluent Highgate area. We noticed it had an outdoor beer garden so went straight outside to enjoy the warm weather with two refreshing organic drinks...and butter brioche as it was just for our mid morning snack. The Homemade Lemonade and Raspberry and Kombucha Ginger drinks were delicious, highly recommended, the homemade larger butter brioche was just devine so must get a mention. The place is really nice, very welcoming, very clean and fresh and their is even a disabled toilet at the back, although you do need to climb stairs to get to the beer garden if you wanna make use of it. This Belgian restaurant supports organic and local agricultural whenever possible which is good to hear. We will be back again soon to enjoy the organic omlettes and try out the organic pastries."

a good place to brunch in highgate. the full belgian breakfast was great. good bakers are brioche. hot drinks are served in rather strange sauces without handles. service was pleasant and we could get a table easy enough.

Dropped in today with a colleague for breakfast. The place is nice, service is good but the food was a real let down. We both ordered the Organic Baked Omelette. It was really really dry, almost unpleasant. Thankfully the blob of cheese on the top...added some moisture. But overall, I ate to be polite, and as it was not social, I couldn't complain at the time. The bread served alongside it was also dry. It was also overpriced, almost ten pounds for a tiny dry omelette.

Went here today for tea and a snack, and my heart lifted when I saw Croque M’sieur on the menu. What could be more delicious than rich cheesy bechamel, delicate smoked ham and buttery fried bread? What came was a brutalist ham and cheese toasty...on overly crusted brown bread, accompanied by a baffling pot of ketchup, and a small salad. Deeply disappointing and annoyed I spoiled my appetite for something nicer by eating this. And it cost the best part of twelve quid. Tea was nice though.

On many an occasion, we have bought their sourdough bread and baguette which we have thoroughly enjoyed. This time, based on the tastiness of their bread, we decided to have dessert there. We waited for a peculiarly long time for our puddings to arrive, and...when they finally came, they were sickeningly sweet! We had ordered three cookies that were hideously grainy and sugary, and so we didn't finish them. Disappointed to say the least! As well as this, I should warn you that it is quite pricy, but that is to be expected of Highgate!

"my partner and I stay a week in london and have booked a lot of places to eat during our stay. this is a place we will relive on any future adventure. the menu is full of a series of Italian...Delights and my understanding of what to have was a beautiful dilemma. I had the baked flat mushroom with gorgonzola, honey and rocket to begin while my partner had a garlic pizzabrot. my was simply sensational and she was delicious (and easy enough to feed for net I had an eleanora pizza with prosciutto crudo, caramelized wobble, mascarpone and basilikum. the best handmade pizza I ever had! my partner had the tagliatelle pollo e funghi. tagliatelle with mushroom, pancetta and huh in a creamy white sauce. for a communal dish in many Italian restaurants this was a considerable cut over the rest. Of course we have ensured that there was room for dessert (if in rom and all that). it is always particularly exciting to see the cakes made all the house and there is a nice selection of authentic Italian dresses to choose. my partner went for a cheesecake served with fruit-couli, while I had decided to be adventurous and to start something new in the form of canolo siciliano. sweet ricotta wrapped in a fresh, thin baked baked pastry, served with pistachio ice cream and fresh strawberries. first was the cheesecake devine. there are no words for it, it's just fantastic. my adventurous to the unknown has also paid off as I can say that I have never dessert like the canolo. such a variety of aromen on a plate, supplemented with chocolate sauce and a lemon cure was only pure joy. every last crumb of our meal was sensational, as was the drinks as well as the wonderfully dipped and refreshing hot sprout. now is good eating a thing, good service is another. as gastfreundschaft arbeiter himself (I myself a chef and my partner in front of the house) appreciate and appreciate good service when we see it. the way the two waitresses worked effortlessly together, and with care and care and their insidious ability to press on an upsell without being overlaid was a joy in themselves. the handling with a lot of takeaway orders while they can take care of their guests may be difficult (we know) but they treated everything super and everyone had smile on the faces. overall, this was a fantastic evening in a brilliantly guided facility that is quite simply a must-visit place to dive!"
