"Hidden behind a small sign and a nondescript frontage a few metres off the Bvde Montparnasse is le Parc au cerfs. This restaurant is definitely not a pub gastro or otherwise. The menu is not large but beautifully balanced as is the wine list. Prices are reasonable in line with the quality of the food . A 50cl of petit Chablis at 19€ was very good. You can order a 2 course or 3 course menu. My nut crusted veal was perfect as were the accompanying mash and vegetables. A deconstructed pavlova a perfect finish. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant even has a tiny outdoor area for warm nights. Despite the frontage the restaurant restaurant is quite large but be safe and book."

We enjoyed a balanced dessert menu with each successful dish. The paved calf was well cooked and melted with very good brown.

Very pleasant and affordable place in relation to the setting and quality of the dishes. Lunch menu at 23 € with : Day-to-day dish or Day-to-day dish. The small plus of the restaurant is the drawing on the tables: color pencil jars are available on the tables.

The kitchen is excellent and wanted for dishes like desserts. The price quality ratio is amazing ... the apartment: two champagnes only in the wine map. one thing to review: the furniture of the interior terrace . tables and chairs guinguette , without any comfort obviously and strongly contrasting with the interior furniture ...

Always very well welcomed, sober and elegant. Map of varied and very interesting wines in the value/price ratio (there are some pepits at reasonable prices). On the plate, great mastery of cooking and reduced juice, superbly worked vegetables, suggestions of the day always very much about it. I usually go back to it again and again, and I strongly recommend it.

Small brewery preserved from the tumult and vacarm of the boulevard du Montparnasse. The kitchen, of a type of brewery is very good and relatively sophisticated compared to restaurants nearby. The terrace in the courtyard is also very pleasant. Probably the best brewery to go to this neighborhood. Wines not exceptional but pleasant (we stay in a brewery). The only apartment is the very doubtful friendliness of the staff.

What a pleasure to dine at this lovely typical Montparnasse restaurant with long tradition, located in the middle of what used to be the artist area, rue Vavin. Impeccable service, interesting menu with classical and some inventive dishes, good wine-list and decent prices. You can opt for a menu formula of 2 or 3 dishes at a fixed price, and can than choose out of the menu. Excellent quality, excellent and friendly service. So: warmly recommended.

This restaurant is located in the famous Montparnasse side one of the living place at night in Paris. This is an old artist workshop that has been remodel in a very welcoming way, you feel like home. Staff is paying great attention, polite and efficient. Food is great we started with a blini with cream and smoked salmon, not very big as Texas size, followed by the daily special (veal stew with sauce) and a slice of roasted pork, and good chocolate fudge to finish. You can have some good find on the wine list that is not that expensive. All togather a great experience, we will come back.

The restaurant has a warm and welcoming ambience, especially the back room with its skylight and double height. Service is also personable and warm. However, the diners in our party had very different experiences. Whereas my cardamom blini with marinated salmon and poached egg was pleasant enough, my veal with nut crust was practically tasteless with no hint of crunch in the crust. Another diner in our party could hardly drink her gazpacho because it was acrid from oversalting. She also found her risotto bland. On the other hand, other members of our party were perfectly satisfied with their dinners and had no complaints at all.
