"Despite the booking confirmation that the check-in was open until 1900, we arrived at 1615 only to find it closed until 1800 Duh almost any other hotel I stayed in greetings guests of 1500 earliest... to connect the problem, I received a text from the hotel in the evening after we had left what the check-in was! Nevertheless, with the large room (17 on the back, fortunately, away from the Saturday night live band on the beach), we were large enough with good facilities and a large shower for 3, instead of installing the tiny Sarg many hotels. While we were hanging around until 1800, we had a look at somewhere to eat, but came back to the hotel, which was a happy decision, as they were crowded around. We sat next to a French couple who had lunch there earlier and decided that the food was so good to come back for dinner. Our food was great as the wine I recommend to St. Martin Rouge. All in all, a great stay despite a tasty start would definitely stay there again."

"Our history at this restaurant is decidedly inauspicious. First attempt to eat there in a party of eight, the booking was lost, restaurant was full, and we ended up dining alone in the cavernous ballroom - the food though was superb. Second attempt, there was a huge dog under the table in the dining room - a 'no no' for me - and we went elsewhere. Thus our third, highly successful visit, was particularly pleasing. Although set in the glitzy environment of a live casino with all the impedimenta that implies, the restaurant itself is simple and unpretentious with splendid views over the traditional sea front promenade, complete with scores of beach huts, and - during our visit - an atmospherically churning sea.The food, as before, was excellent, with a succinct menu dominated by fish dishes but also steaks. (My last entrecôte was the best I've ever eaten - anywhere). We had fish soup as starters, a meal in itself, followed by a skate wing, in a caper sauce supplemented by samphire (a local speciality) and saffron rice tamable. Huge helpings, all for nineteen euros each all-in excluding mineral water. Service is pleasant and efficient and the atmosphere calm and welcoming. We had no problems getting a table summer mid-week but booking is to be recommended for weekends."

"so sad to see such a good coffee held by so rude people. I went there twice, first after a good wait following the ignorance of the waitress, we were served our drinks and we were asked to pay immediately, no matter if we were interested in staying longer for other tours. . . the second time, it was at 11:30 a.m., eager to take a coffee and a croissant, it was said impossible because only the food served inside, but I was offered to have it outside (I mentioned that it was raining and that there were no tables outside) which joke, I loved this place with former staff members. . . please avoid in order not to encourage such a horrible service"

"The hotel was recently taken over by a new team and is refreshed (invisible work for the customer). On the other hand, the kitchen team is already at the point and offers local and delicious cuisine without pretension, a great surprise! A special mention for fig pie and chicken chips at home. The reception and service are also at the top!"
