There was excellent food, excellent service, English friendly, and is close to the Montparnasse building. I also like the interior design of the restaurant as well. Very nice.

Des plats du jour toujours sympathiques et faits maison, pour les amateurs de viandes ... elles sont cuites au feu de bois, un délice !!Et pour les amateurs (que je suis) fondez sur la brioche perdue et son caramel beurre salé ... copieux dessert. Rares sont les brasseries qui donnent envie de revenir tant par la cuisine que par le personnel !Bons produits,Plats généreux et très bien cuisinés.Personnel avenant, souriant et attentif, ils contribuent grandement au succès de cette brasserie !Ambiance feutrée et décorée avec goût, tous les ingrédients sont là pour que je m'y arrête à nouveau!

This restaurant exceeded my wife's and my expectations. I had a ribeye steak and she had the lamb nightly special. The entrees were well prepared and very tasty. We split a desert of brioche that is the restaurants signature desert. In a nutshell, it was a great meal and a great value for the money. I most highly recommend this restaurant for its great location and casual cosmopolitan ambiance. Sit inside to get away from the smokers sitting at the outside tables. We chose to eat here based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor and its proximity to Gare Montparnasse as we were due to catch the last TGV service back to Rennes.While the service and ambiance are good I felt disappointed by the food. My other half had the Bavette d'Aloyau which was pleasant enough but the translation on the menu was "Sirloin" which is probably not 100% accurate (Bavette is a flank cut more suited to braising which fits with what was served).
