"I popped in for a late lunch so missed any sort of rush they might have had. There were maybe two other tables that had customers at them. However, the waiter behaved as if the cafe was heaving. He was incredibly rude and was openly annoyed that he had to serve a third table. Which wouldn't have been SO bad if the food had been good. It's legitimately the only poor meal I've ever had in Paris. I just got a simple sandwich and glass of wine. There were no sides - which was fine. Although I'm pretty sure there was meant to be. But the actual sandwich was terrible. The bread was like rock hard. And they just tossed the thinnest slice of cheese on it you've ever seen and a leaf of lettuce. (It was meant to be a cheese toastie). I got the impression that miserable waiter made it himself. They had the cheek to charge €12 for that. The only two positives were the wine was nice - but I don't think Paris does bad wine anywhere. And the barman was quite a pleasant character when I went to pay for my appalling meal and service.I'd avoid this place at all costs. There are loads of other restaurants surrounding it - which I have to imagine would have both better food and service. Mostly because there is no way it could be any worse. In hindsight, I now know why that was the only cafe in that area that wasn't busy."
