"A delightful evening with excellent food. The space is inviting and open, yet intimate and the staff friendly. We had foie gras with a wonderful Sauterne, followed by duck as delicious as could be, a rack of lamb cooked to perfection with herbs and wonderful vegetables, and tortellini with truffle filling. It was traditional provencal fare with a light touch. The owner helped us pick a wine that fit perfectly. The wine list was exqusite. Wonderful wines a good prices. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert but will make up for it next time - soon."

Wonderful small place where one is served perfectly in German or in French. The food is well made and represents classic French cooking perfectlz.

French food served with French roughness. Entrecôte was nervous, lamb was aged, Calvados was young. Coke light or Zero will just not be served. High prices for your discontent. Deceiving.

Beautiful restaurant with an excellent service perfect to eat fresh fish. The soup Boullabaisse is in our top 3 dishes of the whole city of Munich and is comparable with the soups you can eat in the Provence.

We had a wonderful time at Le Refuge, very good food, reasonable prices and the staff very friendly and helpful with the recommendations. I will definitely come back on a next Friday to taste again the Boullabaisse.

Just became one of my favorite restaurants ever. I come from Southern France and I was delighted to be remembered of some of the tastes of childhood. The plates are generous and the food is high quality. The waiters are friendly and manage between multiple languages. It is also cheaper than other French restaurants we've tried in Munich. I highly recommend!

Excellent Service. We got a table although we had no reservation as it was after 21:00. The food was excellent and so was the wine. Dessert was ok. Restroom was clean and tidy.So we were very pleased until short after leaving the restaurant I felt sick (and no I had not eaten anything else before that and it wasn't any virus signal). So just from that: forget about it...

Excellent French restaurant offering a large T shaped room and outside tables in the summer. Kind and on time service. Onion soup and roasted poulet are among my favorites as i like simple dishes. However the menu includes fine French recipes. Deserts are home made and you should not missed it. Wide choices of French and International wines. Happy atmosphere helps to spend a lovely dinner!!

I'm from south of France and to i was doubtful before going there... Actually happilly surprised...The Carré d'agneau was perfectly cooked. I also tooked some salade de poulpe with the suitable spices. The wine choice is ok . i come from Cotes du Rhoine area , and the choice is correct.it was a nice evening, service is also ok. i can advise this restaurant as a "south of France" place in Munich.

All I can say is: try it out! You'll be back. The menu changes daily and offers a superb selection of seasonal French cuisine. The seating indoors is loose which is really nice nit have a neighboring table bump you chair. But, seating outside on the curb is great in, as the restaurant is on a corner or two quiet streets in the Schwabing. The French waiters are charming and service is excellent. The wine selection complements the meals. Another tip: have dessert!
