"Keep in mind that in general, almost all French restaurants offer fixed-priced menus for lunch, two or three dishes (entrance and flat or flat and dessert to choose, or the three dishes). the choice is limited to very few alternatives, or you cannot choose at all, but the freshness of the products and the quality of the packaging of the dishes are guaranteed. prices are low and range between 10 and 16 euros, excluding drinks, and vary from a few euros for the choice of three services menu; beverages, as mentioned, are usually sold separately, but some restaurants include them in the price. the menu usually includes the day dish, strongly recommended!!! the wine of the house is generally reliable, and is served in glass (glass) or half-litre (pichet) briquettes; it is also possible to order wines in bottle with glass. and for water: it is better to ask for a water carafe, it is free and does not poison, otherwise if you opt for mineral water you can also find yourself to pay as for a good wine!!! We have often opted for the restaurant on noon, with overall positive results, as in this case, namely the pig-nanty rince. we ate the noon in this bright and airy place, elegantly informal, a few steps from one of the many ibis that delight the city - the ibis nantes centre - where we stayed. the lady welcomed us warmly despite the advanced schedules, the husband gave advice and gave explanations from the open counter on the à la carte dishes. We took all four complete menu formulas (entrance/plat/dessert) and two flat/dessert formulas, with proposals that varied from the meat, cheese, meat - with the dominant pork, as the name of the place indicates. - but also to fish. Finally, floating island, white cheese, chocolate mousse and enjoyoles, also at the height. a drink, rosé wine from coast of Provence and beer paulaner. coffee and digestive to finish. all for the price of 92 euros and half. Well spent."

Too bad it's still full so are very tight and it's a little noisy of course. You eat well: traditional, tasteful and hearty dishes. we go there regularly when we go to swim (1 times a quarter, you better book because there are many accustomed at noon!)

I've eaten well. The kitchen is very family, it's hearty, but it's a little too noisy to my taste, we don't get to talk. the frame is nice, it's too bad that we can't enjoy it because there's little room compared to the number of tables. The waitress is very nice. It looks a lot like a canteen.

"When in Nantes at the last-minute, I used my TA app on my iPhone to find something great near me. I called, and the person I spoke to couldn't have nicer, and said "come on over". I did. The restaurant was virtually empty, despite the fact that a couple of other places I called were booked solid and had no more tables available. The "acceuil" (welcome) couldn't have been nicer. The choices on offer were a fixed formula of 2 entrées, 2 mains, and 2 desserts. I was told that this was as they use only fresh products. I chose a main of cheese/pesto stuffed ravioli with a cream, tomato and cilantro sauce. It arrived quickly, but was maybe room temperature. The hope of fresh cilantro giving a "twist" to the dish, was there, but a bit in the background. I was a bit disappointed, as I couldn't identify the ravioli as being "home-made". In fact, nothing seemed to be fresh/hand chopped, like the tomatoes. I had the bread pudding for dessert, and it arrived also room temperature, was clearly "home-made" with pears, and clearly bread chunks on the top, with a swirl of chocolate for garnish. It was a bit dry, clearly not made very recently, and the inside (where the bread aspect should have been well-infused), was not throughout. The top of the "cake" had hard, dry bread chunks on it. My impression was that perhaps it was a "slow day", and they weren't putting much effort into it by serving something freshly cooked. There was only one other diner in the place. On the other hand, the serveuse could not have been nicer or more helpful. They feature an interesting international, short wine list with everything available by the glass. The dinner menu (on the blackboard on the wall), looked interesting. I think it merits trying again, if they turn on the stove and start serving food hot off the burner, as the interesting menu seasoning is attractive. Great service, but the food was mediocre this day."
