Le Vaffieu - Menu

a breathtaking view. We see the white mountain. an altitude restaurant. a rich and varied map. Even for a homemade pie (they are huge) it's worth the detour.

Nice location large selection of dishes service was a little slow, but restaurant was super busy and eating good quality. Would recommend cheese fondue and veal!

The beautiful mountain setting. The divine food. The wonderful host and service. Just perfect. An experience that we will never forget. A must if you are visiting Les Gets.

after 2 hours walking you have to make a stop at the vaffieu and what a nice surprise, family resto or you are at the small care, the entire map detailed by the boss, excellent dishes and beautiful parts, definitely a good address and very nice place

we discovered the vaffieu on the ski slopes 5 years ago in excellent winter. But we have to admit that summer has reserved us a wonderful surprise. the restaurant is located on the edge of the golf of the gets and you get on foot. The mozzarella salad is divine. the view on the white mountain a feast for the eyes. children play while parents have lunch quietly, happiness!

We had lunch at le Vaffeau, last ski season it was very hard to get a table, we must have called on 6 different occasions to try to book, but they were always fully booked in the morning when trying to get a table for...lunchtime. Anyway the meal today was excellent and when the waiter/waitress was able to get to us they were very good, however, we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to ask for our order. We guessed that they were busier than they expected. The Vaffeau quiche was excellent, and...the Cafe Gourmande amazing and is certainly more than enough for two people!

The vaffieu offers a quality restoration of both snack type outdoors and a table restaurant in its indoor room or in its heated tent in continuity of its room.On the outside you can enjoy the best blueberry pie, I would recommend less cheesecake, on the most beautiful snowy and sunny terrace offering a magnificent view of the mountains.Inside a special mention for choice and refined dishes you can enjoy. If you are there, you can taste delicious savoyard specialties as well! to note that the vaffieu offers a basic child menu but that they do not offer pancakes, waffles, or tartines and that it is therefore difficult to taste the children.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 15 years, during our traditional ski week in Morzine, and are always superbly welcomed by carole and Christian. Everything is perfect:* first the welcome both by the bosses and by the staff *the charm of a mountain restaurant with a magnificent setting (hundreds of hearts in all materials, sizes, colors). when it looks beautiful a beautiful view that invites to stay there a little bit.before to take back the tracks*and in the plate everything is good and hearty with some specialties that are worth the detour: jean paste sauce girolles, risotto with trumpets of death,Camembert integer fried,The mustardy pillow without forgetting the very copied salad...

Family and I booked here for our last day of skiing and were we happy!! Table was ready and were seated outside in the beautiful sun. Drinks were lovely and refreshing, tables were placed beautifully and fresh bread was placed on the table along with...water. The menu has plenty of options including items you wouldn’t expect to eat on the mountain such as oysters and scallops which were so fresh. Between us we went with the garlic snails, and oysters to start. Beautiful in flavour. Mains we went with the duck cooked four ways with the most beautiful garlic potatoes, veal with scallops and sea bass. Desserts creme brûlée, raspberry tarts and Irish coffee!
