"Les 2 Filles is located across the road from the Old Port in St Raphael and is one of many restaurants in the area looking for a piece of the tourist market. The owner is high profile, pulling in the passing trade with his enthusiastic and jokey manner before personally escorting them to a table in his busy and loud restaurant. We would normally cross the road to avoid a restaurant where customers are actively pursued on the street but, having read the TripAdvisor reviews, we were prepared for this - and we did fancy a couscous or tagine type dish. The good news is that the food we ordered (a chicken tagine and a lamb couscous) was delivered promptly and was really enjoyable - good sized portions, succulent meat, beautiful couscous; prices too are reasonable (our bill, including drinks came to under 50 Euros). However, this is not the restaurant to choose if you enjoy eating in a quiet and relaxed place; Les 2 Filles is noisy and buzzing, the owner is a bit intrusive for some tastes, and the proximity of the tables means that there is no privacy of conversation. On the other hand, if you are looking for something a bit different, offering good food in a fun and vibrant restaurant then Les 2 Filles is a pretty good choice."

The owner of the restaurant has kindly met us and offered a free Kir Royal. Home like atmosphere and the attentive stuff along with extra tasty mussels and complimentary limoncello at the end made not only the dinner perfect but also made our day!

I have visited this charming restaurant many times with various friends and family. The good standard of food never fails and the ambience set by the owner is always fun and relaxed. The menu is varied and well priced. There is something for everyone's taste buds. View menu

I ate here on my own, on Friday 21 May. I chose the 3 course 21.90 euro menu and was delighted with it all. Soups de poissons, grilled tuna steak and fromage blanc de maison. The two girls served me very well, and the flamboyant patron kept us all smiling. To round off this fun evening I was offered a liqueur on the house. Excellent experience.

The food was not bad but not exceptional,at all. The service was ok, but the woman was not really friendly and she was yelling a lot. The ambiance and design were really old fashioned like the school canteen. Not really great for a special dinner, ok for a quick lunch if you are in a hurry and everything else is closed or no seats available. Not really expensive.

We arrived before the service started and the hostess (the proprietors sister) welcomed us in and brought us a complimentary glass of sangria while we looked at the menus.Excellent set menu and quality food at reasonable prices.Hand cut chips a rare experience and excellent.Chicken couscous- just perfectNou Nou the proprietor what a charming man kept us amused for ages. There is lots of choice on this promenade but on this experience I will only go back there. The owner actively recruits people into the restaurant but he is friendly and jokey. He keeps abreast of European matters not French related in order to do this. We were particularly impressed that he offered a bowl of water for a dog - the owner was not a diner in the restaurant. He also made a huge fuss of a toddler which resulted in the parents booking a return visit there and then. I had a marvelous seafood salad and my husband very much enjoyed his carbonara. A very good lunch and an interesting experience to boot.

The location alone should tell you that this is a tourist restaurant. Right across from the beach, there is a very nice view of the marina and it's a good place to people watch. The owners also work the restaurant...he's the man bringing the people in from the street and making sure everyone is having a good time, she is serving food as quickly as it comes from the kitchen. All in all, it is not a bad place to eat, but my food was rather lacklustre and, I think, does not benefit by coming from the microwave. I had the Kefta tagine. The couscous accompanying were excellent, but the tagine was rather tasteless until I got ahold of the harissa. That pepped it up.The rouget was ordered by my lunch...
