"We had the menu of the day that that day - like the pastor's egg - was good in places. The entrance, the 'campagnard salt' was one of the thinner versions I've met in the qurcy for 25 years. the main dishes varied with the well-presented "black owl" but the fish of the day - the fade "black place" - needed a much more tasty sauce than the one provided. desserts were good. service was good and coffee at a reasonable price. the restaurant enjoys convenient parking nearby and a quiet location on the riverside for which many restaurateurs would kill. It's a pity that the current owner doesn't increase his game a bit because it could be so much better. it may be that the menu that day was not typical and we will certainly come back in the near future to try again."

Exceptional view of Lot and the Pont Valentré, emblem of the city of Cahors. Our observations about this restaurant are: a terrace of a mediocre outfit, the dishes are so regional are simplified and unadapted to the city of Cahors. We were expecting much more typical dishes and home things that are not the case. We were very disappointed. Don't go!

I suppose it is not necessary to be next to the train of tourists who descend from the boats and who see the bridge, the polite personnel is not necessary. attended at 12 o'clock before lunch hour. I wanted two coffees and the kid's menu. We had the clear impression that my order was a drawback. 5 other customers in a 60-room room for a 20-minute taste? female staff disdained. We left.

Too bad we can't put under 1 star. We arrive at 3:30 pm to drink a drink, a waitress arrives and barely says hello.. we waited 10 minutes so we were asked what we wanted to drink, barely pleasant we saw that she did not want to be at such a point that I was ordered and I had not finished that she was already gone and very nasty with us. , To avoid finally for me I will not return there. My husband and I arrived here at around 14:20, hot and hungry! Of course, restaurants normally stop serving at 2 hours. the charming guy who served us brought us a beautiful bottle of fresh pink (and at a very reasonable price) and offered us fries! they were freshly prepared, not fat and probably one of the most memorable meals we had during our 2-week stay in this region!! Thank you very much, sir!

We were in a hotel near by which doesn't have a restaurant so looking for somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening. Found this place by accident. It was very pleasant as it has a lovely view of the river Lot and the Pont Valentre....This makes up for the food being a bit ordinary, though perfectly OK. Quite reasonable prices too. We even went back for another evening, but found it rather understaffed that time, though the one waitress on duty did her absolute best.

the valentine terraces are as its name suggests, located on the lot with view on the valentrated bridge. We ate a good lunch here; a duck and pork sausage with potatoes and oven tomatoes that was very good followed by an excellent local cheese plate to share. there were only two dishes on the menu of the black table and apart from that, there was a selection of tartines or salads. The service was very friendly. I suspect we'll come back at some point. It was a quiet place to eat away from the city that was very lively. View menu

We came at lunch time and while there were free tables on the main terrace, we were headed to a table adjacent to a few meters from the main restaurant. It was a bit of annoying, but we were hungry and thirsty. After this rather delicate beginning, we were marvelled by the fantastic view of the river, close to the impressive valentine bridge. we chose the menu of the day that was correct but nothing special. The service was both hot and cold, probably because it was difficult to attract the attention of the servers from the main terrace. I'd go back there for the view and a drink, but not food, or even dubious service.

that could not be a miss. an unbeatable location on the lot, river excursions on the neighboring kai, the fascinating valentre bridge and the cliffs in a more beautiful view. that eat good local specialties, wee decent. the personal could be nice people, but stressed the point of the unimaginable restlessness and the worst attitude I have ever experienced that if I accidentally beaten over my glass wein, it on the table and on my pants the waiter did not even bring me an additional serviette to wipe it. he totally ignored me. go for the purpose of looking, much luck with the service, I am sure that if the owners rent more personal this could be a pleasant destination. as it is, it is a one t...

"we went to the barn by accepting that the owner was a "personage", but we expected to get good quality food. What shock we got. food could be very nicely described as a basic home kitchen and the owner seemed much more concerned about his performance of "look at me" than providing any type of service to his customers. When we went into the restaurant and asked for a table for two, we were told loudly and with the arms renounced, sit there. not "how would you like to sit here" or "would this table go well?" "Sit here" and he walks away. no menu provided - there is no menu, just a table at the bottom of the stairs leading to the restaurant. two choices for entry and two for main dish. no attempt to specify desert options. After 10 minutes, the owner came to the table to take our order. Even if he recognized that we were speaking a little French, he did not try to explain the dishes, nor even to speak slowly. the best we can get was "cannard or ham, and "boeff or cannard" for main dishes. we selected the duck for the entrance and some time later, the owner planted two plates of melon and ham on the table and went away without saying a word. It was actually correct, but it's a hard dish to be mistaken. later came the main dish - well, a boiled beef dish in a gray sauce and a rice dish too cooked. Not a vegetable or a salad to see. Once again dived without a word. Apparently, we were supposed to share the smaller portions. the dish had the taste of what it was - boiled meat with a little flour to make the sauce. Then came the cheese tray - no description, just serve, then it was taken away. desert saw a woman from the kitchen pull out a dishes tray to choose. Paying the bill meant to be held at the counter while the owner ended up putting the glasses in a dishwasher. without washing or drying hands, took the credit card and treated it without ever saying what the total amount was. I had to read the print to see. It was 55 euros for two dishes at 15 euros and a bottle of white wine. We enjoyed many great lunches and dinners during our week in cahors. with this notable exception, the food was very good to excellent and the service uniformly high. The barn is a shame for the region. Why would someone return to this place is a mystery - we will certainly not."
